Abstract
Se provee un elemento de medición para un conjunto de medidor de agua. El elemento de medición se puede instalar indistintamente dentro de una carcasa principal que es situada permanentemente en línea con un sistema de tubería monitoreado. El elemento de medición incluye un canal de medición, un módulo electrónico y una placa reflectora acústica. El elemento de medición tiene una pared superior con múltiples puertos y una pared inferior con un rebajo. El módulo electrónico es montado por encima de la pared superior. El módulo electrónico incluye uno o más pares de transductores ultrasónicos configurados para transmitir señales ultrasónicas a través de los múltiples puertos al canal de medición y un procesador para calcular un valor de flujo en base a las señales ultrasónicas transmitidas del uno o más pares de transductores ultrasónicos. La placa reflectora acústica es montada en el rebajo e incluye por lo menos un reflector cóncavo que refleja las señales ultrasónicas transmitidas entre el uno o más pares de transductores ultrasónicos.
