Abstract
La presente divulgación se refiere a composiciones y métodos para nuevas moléculas de inhibición de ARN (por ejemplo, moléculas de ARN en horquilla pequeño/corto (ARNhc)), a polinucleótidos que codifican dichas moléculas, al uso de dichas nuevas moléculas de inhibición de ARN para inhibir un gen diana suprimiendo la expresión del ARNm del gen diana y para su aplicación, tal como para el control de plagas de insectos y se describen plantas transgénicas que producen, y están protegidas, por estas moléculas de inhibición de ARN.
