Abstract

Se proporciona un método no destructivo y sin contacto en línea para detectar e identificar defectos en una estructura de cartón en movimiento, así como también el sistema asociado. La estructura de cartón es del tipo elaborado de pliegues estratificados de papel, tal como por ejemplo, tubos de cartón. El método incluye las etapas de emitir ondas acústicas con frecuencias predeterminadas hacia la estructura de cartón en movimiento. Las ondas acústicas son convertidas en ondas mecánicas que se propagan a través de la estructura de cartón en movimiento. El método incluye también una etapa de captura de las ondas acústicas propagadas, en donde las ondas acústicas capturadas se originan de una conversión de las ondas mecánicas propagadas a través de la estructura de cartón en movimiento. El método proporciona también las etapas de análisis de las ondas acústicas capturadas; y la detección e identificación de efectos en la estructura de cartón laminado en movimiento en función de las propiedades predeterminadas de propagación medidas de las ondas acústicas capturadas.
