Abstract

Se proporciona una fibra hidrófoba que, obtenida al modificar un material de fibra que contiene fibra natural sin el uso de compuestos de flúor, tiene propiedades mejoradas de secado rápido, durabilidad, propiedades de lavar y poner y propiedades anti-ensuciamientos en tanto que mantiene la desorción y absorción de humedad de manera suficiente de las fibras naturales; también se proporciona un método de fabricación de esta fibra. Al fijar una película de elastómero de silicona a por lo menos parte de la superficie de un material de fibra que contiene fibras de celulosa y/o fibras animales, la fibra se hace en una fibra hidrófoba con una tensión superficial de menos de 72 mN/m. La película de elastómero de silicona comprende metilhidrógeno-polisiloxano reticulado con estearato de zinc como el agente de reticulación.
