Abstract
La presente invencion proporciona pares de anticuerpos coincidentes para la deteccion especifica de uno o mas de los cuatro serotipos del virus del dengue en una muestra biologica que puede contener uno o mas de tales serotipos del virus del dengue. Cada par de anticuerpos coincidentes es capaz de detectar no mas de un serotipo de la proteina NS1 del virus del dengue que puede estar presente en la muestra y no tendra reaccion cruzada con otros serotipos que puedan estar presentes en la muestra. Se pueden usar multiples pares coincidentes para detectar uno o mas serotipos del virus del dengue que pueden estar presentes en una muestra. Dichos anticuerpos de pares coincidentes facilitan el desarrollo de pruebas diagnosticas confirmatorias in vitro tales como inmunoensayos intercalados, que detectan y distinguen la presencia de uno o mas serotipos del virus del dengue en una muestra biologica, preferiblemente una muestra derivada de un sujeto humano. La invencion tambien proporciona kits que comprenden los pares de anticuerpos coincidentes de la invencion y metodos para usar los kits para inmunoensayos para la deteccion especifica de uno o mas serotipos del virus del dengue en una poblacion de pacientes. La presente invencion tambien proporciona anticuerpos monoclonales especificos para la proteina NS1 del virus del dengue y composiciones terapeuticas y metodos para tratar la infeccion por el virus del dengue.
