Abstract

Se describen métodos, sistemas y medios legibles en computadora para proporcionar alternativas electrónicas a la aceptación de bienes/servicios presentados para pago a la entrega (COD). En algunos aspectos, el método se puede llevar a cabo en un servidor de administración de compensaciones (CMS) que incluye por lo menos un procesador. El CMS está configurado para recibir, por medio de una red de comunicaciones, una solicitud de autorización de una entidad adquiriente para autorizar una transacción de adquisición por un bien/servicio. La solicitud de autorización puede incluir por lo menos un identificador de comerciante, un identificador de cliente y una cantidad de transacción usada para autentificar la adquisición. El método incluye además recibir una respuesta de autorización de una entidad emisora, recibir y almacenar un registro de compensación asociado con la transacción de adquisición, recibir confirmación de que el bien/servicio es suministrado a un cliente en el tiempo de suministro, y procesar el registro de compensación en el tiempo de suministro de manera que la liquidación se produzca en el tiempo de suministro.
