Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una composición para la prevención o el tratamiento de la diabetes que comprende un conjugado de insulina de acción prolongada y un conjugado de péptido insulinotrópico de acción prolongada, y a un procedimiento terapéutico para el tratamiento de la diabetes, y, más en particular, la administración concurrente del conjugado de insulina de acción prolongada y el conjugado de péptido insulinotrópico de acción prolongada inhibe la ganancia de peso provocada por el tratamiento con insulina y los vómitos y las náuseas provocados por el tratamiento con el péptido insulinotrópico, y reduce la dosis de insulina necesaria, mejorando notablemente de este modo el cumplimiento terapéutico con el fármaco. Además, cada uno del conjugado de insulina de acción prolongada y el conjugado de péptido insulinotrópico de acción prolongada de la presente invención se preparan uniendo la insulina o el péptido insulinotrópico con una región Fc de inmunoglobulina a través de un enlazador no peptidílico, mostrando de este modo una mejor duración de la eficacia in vivo y estabilidad.
