Abstract
Se divulgan sistemas y métodos de asistencia en intersecciones que utilizan comunicación dedicada de corto alcance. Un vehículo de ejemplo incluye un transceptor de comunicación dedicada de corto alcance y un asistente para intersecciones. El transceptor de comunicación dedicada de corto alcance de ejemplo está configurado para recibir mensajes de seguridad de otros vehículos. El asistente para intersecciones de ejemplo está configurado para, antes de que el vehículo llegue a una intersección, determinar una probabilidad de que haya espacio para el vehículo del otro lado de la intersección y mostrar una recomendación de si se puede avanzar por la intersección en función de la probabilidad.
