Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para preparar el 1,1,1-trifluoro-2,3-dicloropropano el cual comprende poner en contacto cloro con 3,3,3-trifluoropropeno en presencia de un catalizador para formar el 1,1,1-trifluoro-2,3-dicloropropano, en donde el catalizador comprende por lo menos un haluro de metal, donde el metal es una forma metálica de los Grupos 13, 14 o 15 de la tabla periódica o un metal de transición o una combinación de los mismos.
