Abstract
Un sistema de distribución de video transfiere una señal de video formateada (20) que tiene corrientes elementales que representan contenido audiovisual que se va a presentar en una combinación seleccionada e información de corriente indicativa de corrientes elementales seleccionables. La señal de video formateada representa video extendido que tiene un intervalo extendido (HDR) de brillo y/o color. Un dispositivo de video (21) procesa video de entrada para proporcionar metadatos de procesamiento de video que representan una conversión entre video estándar y el video extendido. La señal de video formateada comprende una corriente elemental de video primario que representa video estándar o extendido, una corriente elemental de procesamiento de video que no comprende contenido audiovisual sino que comprende metadatos de procesamiento de video que representan una conversión entre video estándar y extendido o viceversa, e información de corriente extendida que comprende una entrada indicativa de la corriente elemental de procesamiento de video. Ventajosamente un reproductor de video (22), por ejemplo un reproductor de BD, se habilita para presentar tanto video extendido como estándar con base en la información de corriente extendida y la corriente elemental de procesamiento de video.
