Abstract
Un acumulador para operaciones de pozos submarinos incluye una carcasa generalmente cilíndrica que tiene un primer y un segundo extremos longitudinales teniendo cada uno un orificio para fluidos. La carcasa se divide en dos secciones mediante un tabique divisorio. Se dispone un primer pistón en un lado del tabique divisorio y se dispone un segundo pistón en el otro lado del tabique divisorio. Se una barra de conexión dispone entre los pistones y define una cámara de presión atmosférica o de vacío en un extremo longitudinal en contacto con el segundo pistón. El primer pistón define una cámara de fluido hidráulico y una cámara de presión de carga de gas entre él y el tabique divisorio. El segundo pistón define una cámara de presión hidrostática entre él y el segundo extremo longitudinal de la carcasa. El primer y segundo pistones tienen áreas de sección transversal sustancialmente iguales en ambos lados del mismo de modo que una presión de fluido en la cámara de presión de fluido hidráulico sea sustancialmente igual a una presión de gas en la cámara de presión de carga de gas y a una presión hidrostática aplicada a la cámara de presión hidrostática.
