Abstract

Se describen un método y un aparato para seleccionar formatos de transporte múltiples y transmitir bloques de transporte (TB) múltiples en un intervalo de tiempo de transmisión simultáneamente con, procesos de petición de repetición automática híbrida (H-ARQ) múltiples en un sistema de comunicación inalámbrico. Los recursos físicos disponibles y procesos H-ARQ asociados con los recursos físicos disponibles son identificados y la calidad de canal de cada uno de los recursos físicos disponibles es determinada. Los requerimientos de calidad de servicio (QoS) de los datos de la capa superior a ser transmitidos son determinados. Los datos de la capa superior son trazados a al menos dos procesos H-ARQ. La transmisión física y las configuraciones de H-ARQ para soportar requerimientos de QoS de los datos de la capa superior trazados a cada proceso H-ARQ son determinados. Los TB son generados de los datos de la capa superior trazados de acuerdo con la transmisión física y las configuraciones de H-ARQ de cada proceso H-ARQ, respectivamente. Los TB son transmitidos vía procesos H-ARQ simultáneamente.
