- STORE TO STORE AND TRANSPORT ITEMS The present invention relates to a pallet for storing and transporting articles. The wooden pallets are known for storing and transporting articles. They present a series of drawbacks, and in particular: - they have a large weight of 25-26 kg if the wood is dry), often comparable with the weight of the articles placed on them, they require the use of expensive equipment for their construction, they result in an added cost to the product transported. An object of the invention is to eliminate these drawbacks by providing a pallet for storing and transporting articles which is simple and automated construction using traditional methods and plants. Another objective of the invention is to provide a pallet which presents suitable characteristics for international transport and conforms to the FAO standard, even without annexed documentation. Another objective of the invention is to provide a pallet which can be formed according to patterns corresponding to different requirements. All these objectives and other objectives further details will be apparent from the following description which is obtained according to the invention by the pallet defined in claim 1. As can be seen from the figures, the pallet of the invention substantially comprises a metal sheet loading platform 2 supported by three tubular supports 4 of U-shaped cross section placed parallel to each other along the longitudinal edges and along the length of the centerline of platform 2. Platform 2 comprises a plurality of continuous parallel grooves 6 of substantially section transverse V with an axis perpendicular to the axis of the supports 4.
