Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento para la producción de alúminas hidratadas, en donde al formarse hidróxido de aluminio se hace resaltar el tratamiento de ácidos residuales mediante la neutralización del residuo líquido ácido con un álcali, que conduce a la precipitación del hidróxido de aluminio, que incluye los pasos de: a) hacer reaccionar la solución residual ácido y un álcali; b) alimentar continuamente la suspensión de hidróxido de aluminio a un sedimentador; c) sedimentar la suspensión de hidróxido de aluminio; d) cristalizar el hidróxido de aluminio, bajo condiciones constantes controladas de pH.
