Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un producto de goma de mascar estabilizado que contiene un edulcorante derivado de ácido L-aspártico, que comprende: una primera porción de goma de mascar substancialmente anhídra, que comprende una base de goma y un edulcorante derivado de ácido L-aspártico; cuando menos una segunda porción de composición de goma de mascar que comprende una base de goma y por lo menos un agente saborizante que tiene menos de aproximadamente 5 por ciento en peso, basado en el peso de la segunda porción, de agua; y una película de barrera protectora dispuesta entre la primera porción y la segunda porción, mediante lo cual el edulcorante derivado de ácido L-aspártico de la primera porción está substancialmente fuera de contacto con el agente saborizante, aumentando de esta manera la estabilidad del edulcorante derivado de ácido de L-aspártico en el producto de goma de mascar. Un método para formar un producto de goma de mascar estabilizado, que tiene un edulcorante derivado de ácido L-aspártico, que comprende: proporcionar una composición de goma de mascar substancialmente snhidra de primera porción que comprende una base de goma y un edulcorante derivado de ácido L-aspártico; proporcionar al menos una segunda porción de composición de goma de mascar que comprende una base de goma y saborizantes, la composición de goma de mascar de segunda porción teniendo cuando menos aproximadamente 5 por ciento en peso, basado en el peso de la segunda porción, de agua; y proporcionar una barrera entre las porciones primera y segunda, mediante lo cual se mejora substancialmente la estabilidad del edulcorante derivado del ácido L-aspártico, impidiendo el contacto mutuo entre el edulcorante derivado de ácido de L-aspártico de la primera porción y los saborizantes de la segunda porción.
