Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para copolimerizar por injerto material sobre un esqueleto de hule, que comprende los pasos de alimentar contínuamente el esqueleto de hule hacia la zona de entrada de un pasaje de extrusión que está semi-lleno con el esqueleto de hule; hacer avanzar el esqueleto de hule hacia y a travéz de una zona de sellado dinámico del pasaje de extrusión, dicha zona comprendiendo elementos alternantes de inclinación positiva y negativa; retardar localmente el flujo del esqueleto de hule en la zona de sellamiento y compactar el esqueleto de hule en la zona de sellamiento de modo de llenar completamente el pasaje de extrusión con el esqueleto de hule, con lo cual se forma un tapón sólido del esqueleto de hule en la zona de sellado; hacer avanzar adicionalmente el esqueleto de hule hacia y a travéz de una zona de reacción del pasaje de extrusión; alimentar el material de injerto hacia la zona de reacción, la cual está corriente abajo de la zona de sellado y está a una presión superior que la zona de reacción, la cual está corriente abajo de la zona de sellado y está a una presión superior que la zona de entrada; hacer reaccionar material de injerto con el esqueleto de hule que avanza en la zona de reacción para formar una mezcla de copolimerización por injerto que se liga contínuamente bajo condiciones de copolimerización por injerto; y posteriormente expulsar la masa copolimerizada por injerto resultante del pasaje de extrusión.
