Abstract

The invention relates to apparatuses for electrolytic obtaining of hydrogen that can be used as secondary or alternative fuel for internal combustion engines of the automobile transport. The invention can also be used in the chemical and petrochemical industries.The electrolyzer for hydrogen electrolytic obtaining includes a body (1), inside which there are installed two cathodes (8), made of porous carbon-fibrous material, fixed to current-conducting bases (10) and two anodes (16), two diaphragms (12), separating the cathodic compartment (13) from the anodic (15) one. Above the electrode compartments there are installed dome-shaped caps (2, 3, 4) with branch pipes for removal of hydrogen (5) and oxygen (6, 7). In the anodic and cathodic compartments there are installed electrolyte outlet branch pipes (14, 18), joined in the lower part with a capacity (19), communicating by means of a discharge conduit (30) with the circulation pump (31) with a supply pipeline (29) joined by branch pipes (26, 27, 28) with the electrode compartments. At the same time, the capacity (19) communicates with a feed pipeline (20), equipped with a level meter (21), communicating with a feed capacity (23) with hermetic cover, joined with a metering pipeline (24) with valve, the lower end of which is situated on the same level with the upper limit of the level meter (21).
