Abstract

The invention relates to agriculture, particularly to the utilization of an active biological substance for treatment of seeds before seeding, namely pumpkin seeds.The aim of the invention consists in enlarging the harvest of green vegetables and improving their quality.This aim is achieved by treating the pumpkin seeds with the suspension of the sells Spirulina platensis (Nordst) Geitl CALU.835 desintegrated by ultrasound with optical density of 0,4-0,7 during 5-7 hours. As a result of the treatment we can observe feminization of the plants the encreasing of the number of vegetables on the plant and an engereasing harvest. The quality of the vegetables and seeds is improving, the quantity of sugar is encreased, the quantity of lypides is increased as well as the mass of 100 pieces of seeds.
