Abstract

A dental forceps set comprises at least a dental forceps (12) for tooth extraction and a locking device (14). The locking device may be placed on the forceps and forms a unit separate from the forceps. The locking device can accordingly be set on different forceps. The dentist thus has the possibility when extracting a tooth of selecting a forceps with suitable clamp jaws (22, 24) and then setting the locking device on the selected forceps.
