Išradimas priklauso žemės ūkio technikai, būtent grūdinių kultūrų kūlimo aparatų mechanizmams. Žinomas kūlimo aparate, aprašytame RU patente Nr. 2119280, TPKK: A 01 F 7/06, A 01 F 29/00, publ. 1998 m.), grotelinis, cilindrinę dalį turintis pobūgnis su pjaunančiomis plokštelėmis, sudarytas iš viršutinės ir apatinės dalių bei mechanizmo, galinčio keisti vienodo tarpo tarp būgno ir pobūgnio dydį. Žinomas techninis sprendimas neužtikrina pilno žemės ūkio augalų -grūdinių kultūrų iškūlimo. Išradimo tikslas - užtikrinti kokybišką, pilną ir efektyvų kūlimo procesą bei pagerinti kūlimo proceso sąlygas. Išradimo tikslui pasiekti grūdinių kultūrų kūlimo aparate pobūgnio plokštuma įgaubta taip, kad sudaromas tarpas tarp kūlimo aparato būgno ir pobūgnio per visą pobūgnio ilgį nuo pobūgnio pradžios iki galo būtų tolygiai mažėjantis ir tiesiai proporcingas kūlimo aparato būgno pasisukimo kampui.
