Abstract
본 발명은 시그마-델타(∑-△) 모듈레이션(modulation) 방식을 채용한 멀티미디아(Multimedia) 오디오(Audio)용 ADC(Analog Dgital Converter)와 DAC(Dgital Analog Converter)에서 데시메이션(Decimation)과 인터플레이션(Interpolation)을 위한 FIR(Finite Impulse Response) 필터로, 특히 데이타 램(Data RAM)을 두개로 나눈 병렬구조로 구성하여 처리 속도를 향상시키도록 한 하프밴드(half band) 선형 위상 FIR 필터에 관한 것으로, 계수를 저장하는 계수 저장수단과, 입력되는 두개의 데이타 값과 계수 값을 연산하여 출력하는 연산수단을 구비하는 FIR 필터에 있어서, 두개의 입력 데이타가 각각 저장되는 제1 및 제2데이타 저장수단; 상기 제1 및 제2데이타 저장수단에 연결되어 하나의 계수에 대응되는 두 데이타의 쓰기 및 읽기 동작을 제어하는 제어신호 발생수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 콘볼루션 싸이클 수를 반감시켜 탭수가 늘어나도 실시간 처리가 용이한 효과가 있다.The present invention relates to decimation and interworking in an analog digital converter (ADC) and digital analog converter (DAC) for sigma-delta (∑- △) modulation.
