Abstract

멀티미디어 원격통신망은 1 이상의 오디오, 비디오 및 데이타 통신을 포함하는 전화 서비스를 제공한다. 본 발명의 일예에 있어서, 멀티미디어 원격통신망은 통신망의 가입자에게 멀티미디어 원격통신 서비스를 제공하는 가상 모임 서비스 복합체를 포함한다. 멀티미디어 전화 호출은 종래의 오디오 전화 호출을 수행하는데 지금 사용되는 것과 같은 방식으로 가상 모잉 서비스 복합체에 의해 자동적으로 수행될 수 있다. 이러한 가상모임 서비스 복합체를 포함하는 멀티미디어 원격통신망은 여러 장치를 갖는 사용자들과 함께 접속될 수 있으며, 통합 및 비통합된 통신망의 접근 기구를 조정할 수 있다.

Claims (33)

  1. 통신망에 접속되는 선택된 가입자들간의 전화 호출을 이행하기 위한 1개 이상의 노드; 및 통신망에 접속된 가입자들에 대한 멀티미디어 원격통신 서비스를 제공하는 노드들 중 적어도 하나의 관련된 적어도 하나의 가상 모임 서비스 복합체(virtual meeting services complex)를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 원격통신망.
  2. 멀티미디어 전화 서비스의 적어도 두 가입자간의 멀티미디어 전화 호출을 발생하는 방법에 있어서, 전화망에서 가상 모잉 서비스 복합체에 배치되 호출중인 단(party)으로부터 전화 호출을 수신하는 단계와; 전화호출의 수신에 응답하여 망에 가상 모임방을 만들어, 상기 가상 모임방에 호출중인 단을 접속하는 단계; 및 1개 이상의 호출된 단과 가상 모임방 간의 접속을 설정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어전화 호출 발생 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 수신 단계는 가상 모임 서비스 복합체에 관련된 요금 없는 전화번호를 수신하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 전화 호출 발생 방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 요금 전화 번호는 800 전화번호인 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 전화 호출 발생방법.
  5. 제2항에-있어서, 상기 수신 단계는 FG-D(Feature Group-D) 전화 호출을 수신하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 전화 호출 발생 방법.
  6. 제2항에 있어서, 가상 모임 서비스 복합체에 대한 전화 호출의 수신에 응답하여 소정의 정보에 관하여 호출중인 단을 지시하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 전화 호출 발생 방법.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 지시 단계는 호출된 단에 대한 정보에 관하여 호출중인 단을 지시하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 전화 호출 발생 방법.
  8. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 지시 단계는 인증(authentication) 정보에 관하여 호출중인 단을 지시하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 전화 호출 발생 방법.
  9. 전화 서비스의 적어도 두 가입자간의 멀티미디어 전화 호출을 발생하는 방법에 있어서, 호출중인 단으로부터 1개 이상의 호출된 단의 디렉트리 번호를 수신하는 단계와; 호출중인 단 및 적어도 1개의 호출된 단이 전화망에 의해 제공된 가상 모임 서비스에 대한 가입자인지의 여부를 결정하는 단계; 및 상기 결정 단계에응답하여 망의 멀티미디어 서비스 노드에 호출중인 단 및 1개 이상의 호출된 단을 접속하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 전화 호출 발생 방법.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 호출중인 단과 1개 이상의 호출된 단 사이에 사전 정의 특성을 갖는 접속부를 생선하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 전화 호출 발생 방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 접속부는 여러 다중 매체중 1개 이상의 다중 매체 접속부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 전화 호출 발생 방법.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 다중 매체는 오디오, 비디오 및 데이타로 구성된 그룹에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 전화 호출 발생 방법.
  13. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 사전 정의 특성은 상기 접속부에 관련된 대역폭을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는멀티미디어 전화 호출 발생 방법.
  14. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 사진 정의 특성은 호출중인 단이 가상 모임 서비스에 가압할 때 결정된 디폴트특성인 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 전화 호출 발생 방법.
  15. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 사전 정의 특성은 호출 설정시 호출중인 단에 형성되는 지시의 결과로서 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 전화 호출 발생 방법.
  16. 전화망에서 호출중인 단과 호출된 단 사이의 전화 호출을 수행하는 방법에 있어서, 호출된 단에 대해 호출중인 단에 의해 배치된 호출에 응답하여 여러 매체중 1개 이상의 매체로 통신하기 위해 호출중인 단 및 호출된 단의 가능출력을 자동적으로 식별하는 단계; 및 여러 매체중 1개 이상의 매체로 호출된 단에 호출중인단을 접속하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전화 호출 수행 방법.
  17. 제16항에 있어서, 상기 식별 단계는 호출중인 단의 ANI 및 호출된 단의 디렉토리 번호를 검출하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전화 호출 수행 방법.
  18. 제17항에 있어서, 상기 식별 단계는 ANI 및 디렉트리 번호로 데이타베이스를 어드레스하여, ANI 및 디렉토리 번호에 대한 데이타베이스에 저장된 호출중인 단과 호출된 단의 매체 가능 출력에 대한 정보를 검색하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전화 호출 수행 방법.
  19. 제16항에 있어서, 상기 식별 단계는 호출중인 단과 호출된 단간의 부정합이 존재하는지의 여부를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전화 호출 수행 방법.
  20. 제19항에 있어서, 상기 부정합은 호출중인 단과 호출된 단 사이의 서로 다른 매체 가능출력을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전화 호출 수행 방법.
  21. 제19항에 있어서, 상기 부정합은 적어도 1개의 매체 내애서 호출중인 단과 호출된 단간의 비호환성을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전화 호출 수행 방법.
  22. 적어도 두 멀티미디어 서비스 가입자간에 멀티미디어 호출을 발생하는 방법에 있어서, 원격 통신망에서 멀티미디어 서비스 노드애 배치된 호출중인 단으로부터 호출을 수신하는 단계; 및 호출중인 단의 호출의 수신에 응답하여 호출중인 단과 적어도 1개의 호출된 단 사이의 소정의 멀티미디어 접속부를 자동적으로 설정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 호출 발생 방법.
  23. 제22항에 있어서, 상기 호출은 데이타 호출을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 호출 발생 방법.
  24. 제22항에 있어서, 상기 호출은 오디오 전화 호출을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 전화 발생방법.
  25. 제22항에 있어서, 상기 호출은 시청각(audio visual) 호출을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 호출 발생 방법.
  26. 제22항에 있어서, 상기 원격통신망은 공중 회선 교환 전화망(public switched telephone network)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 호출 발생 방법.
  27. 제22항에 있어서, 상기 원격통신망은 프레임 릴레이 망을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 호출 발생 방법.
  28. 제22항에 있어서, 상기 원격통신망은 비동기식 전송 방식의 통신망을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 호출 발생 방법.
  29. 제22항에 있어서, 상기 원격통신망은 X.25 데이타망을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 호출발생 방법.
  30. 원격통신망에서 멀티미디어 호출을 발생하는 방법에 있어서, 원격통신망에서 멀티미디어 서비스 노드에 배치된 호출중인 단으로부터 호출을 수신하는 단계; 및 호출중인 단과 노드 사이에 소정의 멀티미디어 접속부를 설정함으로써 노드에 호출을 자동 수행하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 원격통신망에서의 멀티미디어 호출 발생 방법.
  31. 교환 원격통신망과; 패킷 원격통신망; 및 멀티미디어 원격통신망의 사용자들간에 멀티미디어 전화호출을 수행하기 위한 패킷 원격통신망과 교환 원격 통신망에 접속되는 멀티미디어 원격통신 서비스 노드를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 원격통신망.
  32. 제31항에 있서, 교환 원격통신망에 접속되는 사용자로부터 신호를 수신하는 수단과; 패킷 원격통신망에 접속되는 사용자로부터 신호를 수신하는 수단; 및 사용자들간의 멀티미디어 전화 호출을 수행하는데 사용되는 교환 및 패킷 원격통신망에 접속되는 사용자들로부터의 신호에 응답하는 인터폐이스 수단을 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티미디어 원격통신망.
  33. 제31항에 있어서, 교환 원격통신망에서, 교환 원격 통신망 및 패킷 원격통신망에 접속되는 사용자로부터 제1매채의 신호를 수신하는 수단과; 패킷 원격통신망에서, 사용자로부터 제2매체의 신호를 수신하는 수단; 및 멀티미디어 원격통신 서비스 노드에서, 교환 원격 통신망 및 패킷 원격통신망에 접속되는 사용자와 멀티미디어 원격통신망에 접속되는 다른 사용자간의 멀티미디어 전화 호출을 수행하는 수단을 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로하는 멀티미디어 원격통신망.
