Abstract

본 발명은 한편으로 프로세서와 이에 할당되고 표현될 텍스트의 2진 패턴이 저장되어 있는 메모리, 다른한편으로 외부버스를 통하여 그 프로세서에 연결된 비디어카드를 갖는 퍼스널 컴퓨터의 스크린상에 CGA 그래픽모드로 텍스트를 표현하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 그 비디오카드는 메모리 내용이 스크린상에 표현될 수 있는 비디오메모리를 갖는다. 텍스트출력을 위하여 비트시이퀀스가 각 화소에 대해 생성되며 2개의 비트 시이퀀스 특히 00을 가지며 배경색을 결정한다. 텍스트부호의 저장된 비트패턴은 이 비트 시이퀀스와 연결되고 항상 각 화소에 대한 저장된 비트 패턴에서 비트 0이 존재하며 어떠한 변화도 만들어지지 않고, 항상 각 화소에 대한 저장된 비트에서 비트 1이 존재하면 2개의 비트를 포함하는 비트 시이퀀스가 생성되어 소망의 전경색을 결정하고 비디오 메모리에 저장된다.

Claims (2)

  1. 한편으로 프로세서와 이에 할당되고 스크린상에 화소로 표현될 텍스트의 2진 패턴이 저장되며 스크린상의 각 화소에 대해 1비트가 저장되는 메모리, 다른 한편으로 외부버스를 통하여 상기 프로세서에 연결된 비디오카드를 가지며, 상기 비디오카드는 비디오메모리를 갖는데 그 메모리 내용은 스크린상에 표현될 수 있어 텍스트문자의 요구시 먼저 이의 2진 패턴이 메모리로부터 독출되고, 이것은 비디오메모리에 화소패턴으로 저장되고 스크린상에 디스플레이되는 문자색 및 배경색에 의해 보충되는, 퍼스널 컴퓨터의 스크린상에 CGA 그래픽모드로 텍스트를 표현하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 외부버스는 16비트 이상의 폭이고 상기 비디오카드는 VGA 카드이상이며 표현될 텍스트문자의 완전한 화소 패턴이 메모리에서 프로세서의 즉시적 환경에 생성되고 이 형태로 외부버스를 통하여 비디오카드로 전달되며, 텍스트출력을 위하여 2개의 비트 특히 00을 포함하는 비트 시이퀀스가 각 화소에 대해 생성되어 배경색을 결정하며, 텍스트부호의 저장된 비트패턴이 항상 이 비트시이퀀스와 관련되고, 각 화소에 대한 저장된 비트패턴에서 비트 0이 존재하며 어떠한 변화도 만들어 지지않으며 항상 각 화소에 대한 저장된 비트 패턴에서 비트 1이 존재하며 2개의 비트를 포함하는 비트 시이퀀스가 생성되어 소망의 전경색을 결정하고 비디오메모리에 저장되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 퍼스널 컴퓨터의 스크린상에 CGA그래픽모드로 텍스트를 표현하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 프로세서가 캐쉬메모리를 포함하거나 그런 메모리가 직접적으로 상기 프로세서에 할당되는 것을 특징으로 하는 퍼스널컴퓨터의 스크린상에 CGA 그래픽모드로 텍스트를 표현하는 방법.
