Abstract

보다 고밀도로 데이타를 기록하도록 배열된 데이타 기록 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 학습 데이타 발생 회로에 의해 발생된 학습 데이타는 디스크상에 기록되며, 부호간 간섭 측정부에 의해 학습 데이타의 부호간 간섭을 측정하도록 플레이어에 의해 재생된다. 프리-앰퍼시스 보정치 산출회로에서, 상기 측정된 부호간 간섭에 대응하는 프리-엠퍼시스 보정치가 산출된다. 상기 산출의 결과는 기록 엣지 위치 산출회로의 ROM내의 테이블로서 기록된다. 상기 기록엣지 위치 산출 회로는 상기 ROM에서 기록된 테이블에 따라 정보원으로부터 출력된 기록데이타를 처리한다.

Claims (6)

  1. 피트의 각 엣지의 위치를 기록될 데이타에 따른 제1스텝폭으로 스텝 방식으로 변화시키고, 부호간 간섭을 줄이도록 상기 제1스텝폭보다 작은 제2스텝폭으로 상기 제1스텝폭을 갖는 엣지의 위치를 보정하므로써 기록 매체상에 데이타를 기록하는 방법에 있어서, 보정되지 않은 데이타가 기록된 기록매체를 제공하는 단계와; 상기 기록매체로부터 보정되지 않은 데이타를 재생하는 단계와; 상기 기록매체로부터 재생된 데이타에서 부호간 간섭을 산출하는 단계와; 상기 산출된 부호간 간섭의 값에 기초하여 엣지 위치를 보정하기 위해 제2스텝폭으로 보정량을 산출하는 단계와; 상기 산출된 보정량을 사용하여 기록매체상에 데이타를 기록하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이타 기록 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 엣지 위치를 보정하고 데이타를 기록하는 단계는 상기 부호간 간섭이 미리 설정된 소정의 기준값보다 작아질 때까지 반복하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이타 기록 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 적어도 제1회째에 산출된 보정량은 상기 산출된 부호간 간섭에 따른 보정량보다 작은 값으로 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이타 기록 방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 제1회째에, 제1스텝폭의 엣지 위치중의 소정 엣지의 위치와, 그 엣지의 전후에 인접한 적어도 두개의 엣지 위치의 조합 패턴을 결정하는 학습 데이타가 상기 기록매체상에 기록되며, 이 학습 데이타는 보정량을 산출하도록 재생되는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이타 기록 방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 부호간 간섭을 산출하는 단계는 상기 부호간 간섭값으로서 사용되는 부호가 간섭의 평균값을 얻기 위해 하나의 조합 패턴에 대해 복수회 반복되는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이타 기록 방법.
  6. 피트의 각 엣지의 위치를 기록 데이타에 따른 제1스텝폭으로 스텝 방식으로 변화시키고, 부호간 간섭을 줄이도록 상기 제1스텝폭보다 작은 제2스텝폭으로 상기 제1스텝폭을 갖는 엣지의 위치를 보정함으로써 기록매체상에 데이타를 기록하는 장치에 있어서, 기록매체상에 기록된 데이타를 재생하기 위한 재생수단과; 상기 기록매체로부터 재생된 데이타에서 부호간 간섭을 산출하기 위한 부호간 간섭 산출 수단과; 부호간 간섭이 작아지도록 상기 제2스텝폭으로 엣지의 보정량을 산출하기 위한 보정량 산출 수단과; 산출된 보정량을 저장하기 위한 저장 수단과; 저장된 보정량을 사용하여 기록 매체상에 데이타를 기록하기 위한 기록 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이타 기록 장치.
