Abstract

본 발명은 수계 코팅 조성물, 구체적으로 음극계 전기코트 조성물에서 안료용 분산제로서 유용한 화합물에 관한 것이다. 상기 화합물은 안료-상호 작용성 치환체와 안정화 치환체틀 갖는 아크릴계 주쇄를 포함한다.
상기 안료-상호 작용성 치환체는 하나이상의 일차 아미노기를 가진다. 상기 안정화 치환체는 알콕시-말단화 폴리알킬렌 옥사이드 구조물을 가진다. 상기 분산제는 전기코트 코팅 조성물을 제조하는데 유용하다.

Claims (17)

  1. (a) 수-분산성, 전기적-부착성의 적어도 부분적으로 중화된 양이온성 수지의 수성 분산액; (b) 하나이상의 일차 아미노기를 가지는 안료-상호작용성 치환체와 하기 식의 알콕시-말단화 폴리알킬렌 옥사이드를 포함하는 안정화 치환체를 지닌 아크릴계 주쇄를 포함하는 분산제 화합물; 및 (c) 상기 분산제 화합물을 사용하여 분산된 1종 이상의 안료를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기코트 코팅 조성물 :
    D(CHR1CH20-)nR2
    상기 식에서, D는 -0- 또는 -NR3-에서 선택된 2원자가 라디칼이고, 이때 R3는 수소 또는 탄소수 1 내지 12개의 알킬이며, R1은 수소 또는 탄소수 1 내지 8개의 알킬과 수소의 혼합물이고, R2는 탄소수 1 내지 30개의 알킬이며, 및 n은 정수 1 내지 1000이다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 양이온성 수지가 일차 아민으로 작용화된 에폭시 수지인 코팅 조성물.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 조성물이, 기재상에 코팅이 부착된 후 양이온성 수지와 반응하여 기재상에 가교화 필름을 형성할 수 있는 가교제를 추가로 포함하는 코팅 조성물.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 가교제가 시클릭 카르보네이트 작용성기를 갖는 코팅 조성물.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 가교제가 블록화된 폴리이소시아네이트 화합물인 코팅 조성물.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 아크릴계 주쇄의 분자량이 2,000 내지 50,000인 코팅 조성물.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 안료 상호작용성 치환체와 안정화 치환체가 우레탄 결합 또는 우레아 결합을 통해 아크릴계 주쇄에 연결되는 코팅 조성물.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 안료 상호작용성 치환체와 안정화 치환체가 β-히드록시 에스테르 결합 또는 β-히드록시 아민 결합을 통해 아크릴계 주쇄에 연결되는 코팅 조성물.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 안료 상호작용성 치환체가 하나이상의 일차 아민기, -OCH2CH2NH2기 또는 -N(CH2CH2NH2)2기를 갖는 화합물에서 선택되는 코팅 조성물.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, D가 -0- 또는 -NH-인 코팅 조성물.
  11. 제1항에 있어서, R1이 수소이고, R2가 메틸인 코팅 조성물.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, n이 30 내지 70인 코팅 조성몰.
  13. 제1항에 있어서, 안료를 분산제 화합물에 하기(a) 및 (b)단계로 분산시키는 방법을 특징으로 하는 코팅 조성물 : (a) 분산제, 물, 및 공용매의 혼합물에 안료를 첨가하고, 혼합하여 예비 혼합물을 형성하는 단계, 및 (b) 상기 예비 혼합물을 분쇄하여 최대 입자 코기가 6 미크론 미만인 분산액을 생성하는 단계.
  14. (a) 기재상에 제1항의 코팅 조성물을 전착시키는 단계; 및 (b) 상기 기재상에 부착된 코팅 조성물을 경화시키는 단계를 포함하여 기재를 코팅하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 코팅 조성물이 제1항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항의 조성물인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  15. 제14항의 방법에 따라 코팅된 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅된 물품.
  16. 제15항에 있어서, 코팅된 물품이 자동차 부품 또는 차체인 코팅된 물품.
  17. 안료-상호작용성 치환체 및 안정화 치환체를 지닌 아크릴계 주쇄를 포함하는 분산제 화합물에 있어서, 안료-상호작용성 치환체가 하나이상의 일차 아미노기를 가지며, 안정화 치환체가 하기 식의 알콕시-말단화 폴리알킬렌 옥사이드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 분산제 화합물 :
    D(CHR1CH20-)nR2
    상기 식에서, D는 -0- 또는 -NR3-에서 선택된 2원자가 라디칼이고, 이때 R3는 수소 또는 탄소수 1 내지 12개의 알킬이며, R1은 수소 또는 탄소수 1 내지 8개의 알킬과 수소의 혼합물이고, R2는 탄소수 1 내지 30개의 알킬이며, 및 n은 정수 1 내지 1000이다.
