Abstract

본 발명은 용융 아연과 같은 용융 금속에 의한 공격에 우수한 내구성을 갖춘 붕소 질화물 및 규산염 함유 밀봉제와 기재상에 밀봉재를 피복시키는 방법에 관한 것이다.

Claims (10)

  1. 6 내지 18중량%의 붕소 질화물 고체, 9 내지 26중량%의 규산염 고체 및 나머지는 물로 구성된 수용액으로 이루어진 밀봉제 용액.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 규산염은 하기 일반식을 갖는 밀봉제 용액;
    M2OㆍxSiO2ㆍyH2O
    여기서 M은 알칼리 금속이고, x는 1.6 내지 4를 범위로 하는 SiO2의 몰수이고, 그리고 y는 적어도 1의 값을 갖는 H2O의 몰수이다.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, M은 나트륨, 칼륨 및 리튬으로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 밀봉제 용액.
  4. 붕소 질화물 및 규화물 함유 밀봉제로 물품의 바깥 표면을 밀봉하는 방법으로서, (a)붕소 질화물 및 규한염의 수용액을 제조하는 단계와, (b)밀봉하고자 하는 물품의 바깥 표면상에 용액을 적용시키는 단계와, 그리고 (c)밀봉제 피복물내의 물을 실질적으로 제거하도록 하는 기간의 시간동안 단계(b)의 피복된 물품을 가열하는 단계로 이루어진 밀봉 방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 규산염이 하기 일반식을 갖는 방법 :
    M2OㆍxSiO2ㆍyH2O
    여기서 M은 알칼리 금속이고, x는 1.6 내지 4를 범위로 하는 SiO2의 몰수이고, 그리고 y는 적어도 1의 값을 갖는 H2O의 몰수이다.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, M은 나트륨, 칼륨 및 리튬으로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 방법.
  7. 용융금속에 내구성이 있는 다공성 층으로 피복되고, 15 내지 70중량% 붕소 질화물, 및 30 내지 85의 중량% 규산염으로 이루어진 붕소 질화물 및 규산염 함유 밀봉제가 그것의 표면상에 갖춰진 물품.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 물품이 강롤이고 그리고 상기 규산염은 하기 일반식을 갖는 물품.
    M2OㆍxSiO2ㆍyH2O
    여기서 M은 알칼리 금속이고, x는 1.6 내지 4의 범위내에서의 SiO의 몰수이고, 그리고 y는 적어도 1의 값을 갖는 H2O의 몰수이다.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 다공성 피복물은 텅스텐 카바이드 코발트, 알루미나, 실리카 및 탄소로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되고 그리고 상기 M은 나트륨, 칼륨 및 리튬으로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는 물품.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 다공성 피복물을 텅스텐 카바이드 코발트이고 그리고 M은 나트륨인 물품.
