Abstract
본 발명은 바이메탈 코인이나 메달과 같은 제품의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 바이메탈 코일을 구성하는 링과 인서트의 가공이 용이하면서도 제작비용이 저렴해지고 링과 인서트가 충분한 결합력을 가질수 있는 바이메탈 코인의 제조방법을 제공하기 위한 것이다.
본 발명은 링의 내, 외경면을 직각으로 타발하여 소둔 및 산세하는 공정과, 상기 링보다 두꺼운 인서트를 타발 및 소둔하여 외경면과 상, 하 둘레면에 돌리와 엣지부를 가공하고 산세하는 공정과, 상기 인서트를 링의 내부에 끼우고 프레싱하여 인서트의 돌기부분이 링의 내경면으로 침투해 들어가면서 결합되게 하는 공정이다.

제1도는 본 발명 방법에 적용되는 링의 사시도, 제2도는 본 발명 방법에 적용되는 인서트의 사시도, 제3도는 본 발명의 제조방법에 따라 인서트가 링의 내부에 삽입된 상태도, 제4도는 본 발명의 제조방법에 따라 제조된 바이메탈 코인의 사시도, 제5도는 본 발명의 제1실시예에 의해 제조된 바이메탈 코인의 결합부 틈새를 나타낸 평면사진.
Claims (6)
- 링의 내, 외경면을 직각을 타발하여 소둔 및 산세하는 공정과, 상기 링보다 두꺼운 인서트를 타발 및 소둔하여 외경면과 상, 하 둘레면에 돌기와 엣지부를 가공하고 산세하는 공정과, 상기 인서트를 링의 내부에 끼우고 프레싱하여 인서트의 돌기부분이 링의 내경면으로 침투해 들어가면서 결합되게 하는 공정으로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 바이메탈 코인의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 인서트의 초기두께를 링의 초기 두께보다 0.01∼0.3mm두껍게 함을 특징으로 하는 바이메탈 코인의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 인서트의 돌기부가 인서트의 원주면을 따라 형성되고 돌출길이가 0.05∼0.25mm이며, 돌기부의 폭이 인서트 초기 두께의 20∼50%인 것을 특징으로 하는 바이메탈 코인의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 인서트의 상, 하 엣지부 끝단사이 높이가 인서트 초기 두께의 105∼130%가 되게 한 것을 특징으로 하는 바이메탈 코인의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 인서트 돌기부의 경도를 여타부분의 경도보다 10∼20%높게 한것을 특징으로 하는 바이메탈 코인의 제조방법.
