Abstract

본 발명은 MCAV 제어 디스크의 내주와 외주의 데이터 배율을 균일호함으로써 동화 등에도 대응한 데이터 기록 매체를 실현하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
최내주 트랙(A)에서 최외주 트랙(B) 까지의 데이터 기록 영역을 4존으로 분할한 예이고, 각 존에는 1개 이상의 데이터 기록 트랙이 있다. 또한 각 트랙은 그 길이 방향에 따라서 단일 기록 용량을 갖는 영역(섹터)으로 분할되어 있고, 기록·재생시의 최소 단위로 된다. 각 존의 트랙당의 섹터수는 각각 내주에서 외주를 향해서 7, 13, 19, 25이다. 여기서 섹터의 배치 간격을 트랙위치에 따라서 길이가 상이한 인터리이브 처리를 한다. 동 도면에서는 내주존에서 외주존에 걸쳐서 섹터 간격을 0, 1, 2, 3으로 하고 있다.

Claims (1)

  1. MCAV 방식으로 기록된 디스크 모양의 데이터 기록매체에 있어서, 상기데이터를 기록하는 트랙 위치에 따라서 상기 트랙위에 배치하는 섹터의 배치 간격의 조정를 행하고, 상기 데이터 기록 매체의 최내주에서 최외주까지의 전면에 걸쳐서 데이터 비율의 균일화를 도모할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 기록 매체.
