Abstract

단일 QAM(quadrature amplitude modulated) 반송파를 사용하여 디지털 텔레비전 신호를 전송하는 방법 및 장치들로서 단일 QAM 반송파는 각각의 복소 신호 데이터 속도 레벨에서 음성 및 영상 패킷들을 제공한다. 본 발명의 한가지 목적은 종래의 아날로그 텔레비전(즉, NTSC) 시스템 통신로에 의해 보여진 영상에 대한 음성의 수신 특성을 닮은 디지털 텔레비전 신호를 제공하는 것이다.

Claims (10)

  1. 제1정보원으로부터 다수의 제1데이터 부분들을 형성하는 수단 및 제1신호 배치를 사용하여 상기 제1데이터 부분들을 변조하는 수단 및 제2정보원으로부터 다수의 제2데이터 부분들을 형성하는 수단 및 제2배치를 사용하여 상기 제2데이터 부분들을 변조하는 수단을 구비한 송신기 및 : 상기 디지털 신호를 수신하는 수단과, 제1신호 배치의 복조에 의해 다수의 제1데이터 부분들을 유도하는 수단 및, 제2신호 배치의 복조에 의해 다수의 제2데이타 부분들을 유도하는 수단을 구비한 수신기를 포함하는 디지털 신호를 송신하는 디지털 송신 시스템에 있어서, 상기 송신기가 제3신호 배치를 사용하여 제1 및 제2데이터 부분의 수신을 돕기 위해 사용되어질 트레이닝 데이터 부분을 변조하는 수단을 더 포함하고, 상기 수신기가 제3신호 배치의 복조에 의해 제1 및 제2데이터 부분의 수신을 돕기 위해 사용되어질 트레이닝 데이터 부분을 유도하는 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 신호 송신용 디지털 송신 시스템
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 트레이닝 데이터 부분이 트레이닝 순차를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 신호 송신용 디지털 송신 시스템.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 트레이닝 데이터 부분이 교번 순차를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 신호 송신용 디지털 송신 시스템.
  4. 제1,제2, 또는 제3항에 있어서 상기 트레이닝 데이터 부분이 적어도 제1신호 배치를 식별하는 순차를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 신호 송신용 디지털 송신 시스템.
  5. 제1 내지 제4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제1데이터 부분이 영상 신호를 포함하고 제2데이터 부분이 음성 신호를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 신호 송신용 디지털 송신 시스템
  6. 제1정보원으로부터 다수의 제1데이터 부분들을 형성하는 수단 및 제1신호 배치를 사용하여 상기 제1데이터 부분들을 변조하는 수단 및, 제2정보원으로부터 다수의 제2데이터 부분들을 형성하는 수단 및 제2신호 배치를 사용하여 상기 제2데이터 부분들을 변조하는 수단을 포함하는 디지털 송신 시스템용 송신기에 있어서, 상기 송신기가 제3배치를 사용하여 제1 및 제2데이터 부분의 수신을 돕기 위해 사용되어질 트레이닝 데이터 부분을 변조하는 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 송신 시스템을 송신기.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 트레이닝 데이터 부분이 적어도 제1신호 배치를 식별하는 순차를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 송신 시스템용 송신기.
  8. 상기 디지털 신호를 수신하는 수단과, 제1신호 배치의 복조에 의해 다수의 제1데이터 부분들을 유도하는 수단 및, 제2신호 배치의 복조에 의해 다수의 제2데이터 부분들을 유도하는 수단을 포함하는 디지털 송신 시스템용 수신기에 있어서, 상기 수신기가 제3신호 배치의 복조에 의해 제1 및 제2데이터 부분들의 수신을 돕기 위해 사용되어질 트레이닝 데이터 부분을 유도하는 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 송신 시스템용 수신기.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 트레이닝 데이터 부분이 적어도 제1신호 배치를 식별하는 순차를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 송신 시스템용 수신기.
  10. 제1정보원으로부터의 다수의 제1데이터 부분들을 형성하는 단계 및 제1신호 배치를 사용하여 상기 제1데이터 부분들을 변조하는 단계와, 제2정보원으로부터 다수의 제2데이터 부분들을 형성하는 단계와 제2신호 배치를 사용하여 상기 제2데이터 부분들을 변조하는 단계를 포함하는 디지털 신호 송신방법에 있어서, 상기 방법이 제3신호 배치를 사용하여 제1 및 제2데이터 부분의 수신을 돕기 위해 사용되어질 트레이닝 데이터 부분을 변조하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 신호 송신 방법.
