Claims (14)

  1. 컴퓨터 시스템에서 표음-표의 변환 프로그램과 텍스트를 디스플레이하는 응용 프로그램간의 표준 인터페이스를 제공하는 방법으로, 상기 방법이; ⒜상기 응용 프로그램의 제어하에 제1윈도우의 현재 커서 위치를 그 커서위 위치가 변할때 상기 응용 프로그램으로부터 상기 변환 프로그램으로 전달하는 단계와; ⒝표음 기호를 입력하는 단계와; ⒞상기 단계 ⒝에서 상기 입력된 표음 기호의 문자열을 상기 응용 프로그램과 별개인 변환 프로그램에 의해 표의 기호 및/또는 표음 기호중의 적어도 하나의 기호를 포함하는 기호의 대응하는 문자열로 변환하는 단계와; ⒟상기 변환 프로그램의 제어하에 상기 변환된 기호의 문자열을 디스플레이하는 단계와; ⒠상기 디스플레이된 변환 기호의 문자열을 선택하는 단계와; ⒡상기 단계 ⒠상기 수신된 문자열을 상기 변환프로그램으로부터 상기 응용 프로그램으로 전달하는 단계와; ⒢상기 수신된 문자열을 제1윈도우에서 디스플레이하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 표음 기호는 일본어의 가나이며 상기 표의 기호는 일본어의 간지인 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 변환된 결과 및 변환되지 않은 표음 기호는 상기 제1윈도우에서 디스플레이되며, 상기 단계⒟ 동안 가능한 표의 기호의 중간 결과는 제2윈도우에 디스플레이되는 방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 제2윈도우는 이동 가능하며 상기 제1윈도우와 중첩하는 방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 제2윈도우는 상기 응용 프로그램에 응답하여 상기 변환 프로그램의 제어하에 이동하는 방법.
  6. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 제2윈도우는 고정 위치에 있는 방법.
  7. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 제1윈도우내 커서 위치는 상기 제1윈도우에서 중첩되는 상기 제2윈도우의 위치를 결정하는 방법.
  8. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 응용 프로그램 및 상기 변환 프로그램은 모두 멀티태스킹 오퍼레이팅 시스템하에서 개별적으로 실행 가능한 프로그램인 방법.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 변환 프로그램과 상기 응용 프로그램간의 통신은 프로세스간 통신을 통해 이루어지는 방법.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 프로세스간 통신에 의해 상기 응용 프로그램 윈도우의 커서 위치, 폰트 및 디스플레이 색에 관한 정보가 상기 변환 프로그램으로 전달되는 방법.
  11. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 입력된 표음 기호는 초기에 상기 변환 프로그램에 의해 처리되는 방법.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 입력된 표음 기호는 초기에 상기 응용로그램에 의해 처리되는 방법.
  13. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 디스플레이된 문자열을 선택하는 상기 단계는 상기 단계⒠에서 사용자가 적절한 표의 기호를 선택할 때 까지 상기 단계 ⒞ 내지 ⒡를 반복함으로써 성취될 수 있는 방법.
  14. 컴퓨터 시스템에서 텍스트를 디스플레이하는 응용 프로그램과 가나-간지 변환 프로그램사이에 표준 인터페이스를 제공하는 방법으로, 상기 방법이; ⒜상기 응용 프로그램의 제어하에 제1윈도우의 현재 커서 위치를 상기 커서의 위치가 변할때 상기 응용 프로그램으로 부터 상기 변환 프로그램으로 전달하는 단계와; ⒝가나 기호를 입력하는 단계와; ⒞상기 단계⒝에서 상기 입력된 가나 문자열을 상기 응용 프로그램과 별개인 변환 프로그램에 의해 간지 기호 및/또는 가나 기호중의 적어도 하나의 기호를 포함하는 대응하는 간지-가나 문자열로 변화하는 단계와; ⒟상기 변환 프로그램의 제어하에 상기 변환된 기호의 가나-간지 문자열을 상기 응용 프로그램에 의해 규정된 조건하에 제1윈도우내 커서 위치에서 이동 가능하고 중첩하는 제2윈도우내에 디스플레이하는 단계로서, 이러한 정보는 프로세스간 통신을 통하여 전달되는 상기 단계와; ⒠적절히 변환된 간지-가나 기호를 선택하는 단계와; ⒡상기 단계⒠에서 사용자가 상기 적절히 변환된 간지-가나 기호를 선택할 때까지 상기 단계⒞ 내지 ⒠를 반복하는 단계와; ⒢상기 프로세스간 통신을 통하여 상기 응용 프로그램으로 전달된 상기 선택된 간지-가나 기호를 상기 제1윈도우내에서 대응하는 텍스트로 대체하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
