중앙처리장치(1)를 구비하여 칼라모니터(18)에 흑백영상 데이타와 대응하는 R.G.B 데이터를 전송하여 칼라영상을 디스플레이하는 색변환장치에 있어서, 상기 중앙처리장치(1)의 출력데이터를 디코딩하여 인에이블신호와 동기신호를 출력하고 또한 중앙처리장치(1)에서 프레임 버퍼 메모리(3)의 데이터를 호출하도록 제어하는 제어부(2)와, 흑백 영상신호를 저장하는 프레임 버퍼 메모리(3)와, 상기 인에이블신호에 의해 중앙처리장치(1)와 접속된 어드레스버스(19)와 상기 프레임 버퍼 메모리(3)의 출력 신호를 선택하여 출력하는 멀티플렉서(4)와, 상기 멀티플렉서(4)의 출력을 어드레스 하고 상기 인에이블 신호와 중앙처리장치의 데이터기입신호를 인가하는 앤드게이트(5)의 논리곱신호에 의해 출력 버퍼(6)를 경유한 데이터버스(20)의 출력데이터를 저장하는 룩 업 테이블(7-9)과, 상기 룩 업 테이블(7-9)의 각 출력을 입력하여 상기 인에이블 신호로 두 출력단을 선택해서 출력하게 하는 디플렉서(10-12)와, 상기 디멀티플렉서(10-12)와 각 입출력단 신호를 아날로그로 변환하여 모니터(18)로 제공하는 디지탈-아날로그 변환기(14-16)와, 상기 인에이블 신호와 중앙처리장치의 데이터독출 신호를 논리곱하는 앤드게이트(13)의 출력으로 인에이블되어 상기 디멀티플렉서(10-12)의 다른 출력단 신호를 저장하여 데이터 버스(20)로 전송하는 입력버퍼(17)로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 흑백영상의 색변환 장치.A color converting apparatus having a central processing unit 1 and transmitting color data corresponding to black and white image data to a color monitor 18 to display a color image, wherein the output data of the central processing unit 1 is decoded.
