Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an electrostatic air cleaning device for removing oily dust.
General electric dust collecting air purifiers use corona discharge to charge fine dust in the air. Thereafter, the general electric dust collecting air purifier uses a method of collecting fine dust through the electric dust collector located at the rear end of the corona discharger. In the electrostatic precipitator using such corona discharge, ozone is generated even in a small amount.
Ozone is managed below 30ppb in the case of general air purifiers. Most of the electrostatic precipitation air purifiers satisfy this ozone generation specification. However, since ozone is generated even in small amounts, consumers do not want ozone generation itself. Conventional electrostatic precipitation air purifiers use a general corona discharge to remove dust, thereby inevitably generating ozone. Therefore, there is a need for an air purifier that does not generate ozone at all.
On the other hand, in general, in order to remove fine dust generated when cooking fish or meat in the kitchen, a hood, etc. is disposed on the electric heater of the kitchen. However, these hoods are generally fixed in one place and have a disadvantage that they cannot be moved. It does not matter if you cook on a gas stove with a hood, etc., but when cooking on a table or living room floor with an electric frying pan, the hood is far away to effectively remove fine dust generated when grilling fish, etc. is difficult Therefore, in order to effectively remove such fine dust, it is necessary to use an air purifier other than the hood close to the location where fish or meat is grilled.
When cooking in such close proximity, air purifiers that can be used to effectively remove oily fine dust generated when frying fish, meat, or vegetables are subject to many restrictions. The HEPA filter type air purifier that we generally use has a problem that it cannot be used for a long time because the HEPA filter is easily clogged in the case of fine dust with a lot of oil.
As shown in FIG. 1 , an electrostatic
The
Hereinafter, a detailed configuration and operation of each component of the electrostatic
The
The
According to embodiments, the
The
In this way, the
Oily fine dust is agglomerated by oil and its molecules are larger than normal fine dust. And it has the property of easily adhering to other materials due to the adhesiveness of the oil. Therefore, fine dust with a lot of oil easily adheres to the
The first
Specifically, the first
As such, the first
The
Ions generated by the
The second
As such, the first
Therefore, the first
The
The
The
On the other hand, the
2 is a view showing the configuration of a feedback air passage in the electrostatic air cleaning apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention.
When the
As another example, the
3 is a view showing the configuration of a dust collecting unit in the electrostatic air cleaning apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention.

For example, the first
Similarly, the second
According to various embodiments, the
Meanwhile, dielectrophoresis will be described as follows. When nonpolar particles such as fine dust are under an electric field, charges are induced along the direction of the electric field on the surface of the particle, causing polarization. If the applied electric field is uniform, since the magnitudes of the electrostatic forces acting on the left and right sides of the polarized particles are the same, the resultant force acting on the particles becomes zero and the particles do not move. However, when the electric field acting on the particle is non-uniform, the magnitude of the electrostatic force acting on the particle is different, so that the particle moves in translation according to the gradient of the electric field. At this time, when the polarization of the particle is greater than that of the material surrounding the particle, the particle moves to a place with a strong electric field (positive dielectrophoresis, positive DEP). Conversely, when the polarizability of the particle is smaller than that of the surrounding material, the particle moves in the direction where the electric field strength is weak (negative dielectrophoresis, negative DEP). And fine dust particles with polarity naturally move toward the opposite polarity.
An embodiment shown in FIG. 3 will be described. In a state where the first and
However, unlike the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, if the
That is, the
4 and 5 are diagrams for explaining an example of a conductor used in a dust collecting unit according to an embodiment of the present invention.
The first and
As shown in FIG. 4 , the first and
As shown in FIG. 5 , the first and
Here, the woven fabric refers to a thing made through a woven process by spinning, weaving, and knitting. The woven fabric may have a structure of a fibrous aggregate aggregated in a predetermined direction. Non-woven fabric refers to a fabric shape in which fibers are bonded to each other by chemical action, mechanical action, or appropriate moisture and heat treatment on a fiber aggregate without processes by spinning, weaving, or knitting. The nonwoven fabric may have a fibrous aggregate structure aggregated in a random direction.
As such, the conductive woven fabric of FIG. 4 or the conductive nonwoven fabric of FIG. 5 may be included in the
Meanwhile, as a modified example, the
As such, according to a modified embodiment of the present invention, a conductive film may be used as the conductor instead of the conductive woven fabric or the conductive non-woven fabric shown in FIG. 3 . Since the conductive film has a smooth surface, even if dust particles adhere to it by dielectrophoretic force, it may fall off from an external impact. On the other hand, when a conductive woven fabric or a conductive nonwoven fabric is used, there is an advantage in that the attached dust particles do not easily fall off even by an external impact. However, a conductive film may be used instead of the conductive woven fabric or nonwoven fabric, and it is not limited to a specific conductive material. As such, according to another embodiment of the present invention, it is easy to manufacture a non-conductive film to hold a wrinkle pattern on a conductive woven fabric or a conductive non-woven fabric, and to isolate the '+' pole and the '-' pole.
The
6 is a view showing another structure of a conductor used in a dust collecting unit according to an embodiment of the present invention.
The
The
Furthermore, the plurality of
As such, at least one of the
7 is a view showing a cylindrical structure used in the dust collecting unit according to an embodiment of the present invention.
An irregular electric field is generated between the
A conductor including such a conductive film is particularly useful for removing oily fine dust. This is because, compared to conductive woven or non-conductive non-woven fabrics, the conductive film shape makes it easier to clean the attached oil when removing fine dust, thereby prolonging the life of the filter. On the other hand, air purifiers using a HEPA filter structure are easily clogged by oily fine dust.
As shown in FIG. 7 , in the

As shown in FIG. 8 , the

Similarly, the

As shown in FIG. 9 , the
Hereinafter, a detailed configuration and operation of each component of the
The
The insulator is disposed between the
When different voltages are applied to the first and
According to various embodiments, the
An embodiment shown in FIG. 9 will be described. That is, the

Although the electrode is connected to a conductive woven fabric or a conductive nonwoven fabric, a conductive film or a film coated with a conductive material may be used. As described above, the film coated with such a conductor has a smoother surface than a conductive woven or non-conductive non-woven fabric, so dust trapping performance may be lowered. can If the film coated with the conductor is used where there is a lot of oil, the oil can be easily removed by the coated film. That is, when cleaning the air cleaning filter with a lot of oily dust, it is easy to clean the case such as a film coated with a conductor.
As shown in FIG. 15 , the
The
Hereinafter, a detailed configuration and operation of each component of the electrostatic
The
The
The first
The first
As such, the first
The
The
The
On the other hand, the
