Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a gas barrier film and a method of manufacturing the same, and more particularly, to a transparent gas barrier film and a method of manufacturing the same.
The image display device that realizes various information on the screen is a core technology of the information communication age and it is becoming thinner, lighter, more portable and higher performance. An organic light emitting display (OLED) for displaying an image by controlling the amount of light emitted from the organic light emitting layer by using a flat panel display capable of reducing weight and volume, which is a disadvantage of a cathode ray tube (CRT) The organic light emitting display device is a self-luminous device using a thin light emitting layer between electrodes, and has an advantage that it can be made as thin as paper.
A general organic light emitting display has a structure in which a sub-pixel driver array and an organic electroluminescent array are formed on a substrate, and light emitted from the organic electroluminescent array of the organic electroluminescent array passes through the substrate or the barrier layer to display an image.
The organic light emitting device has deterioration due to internal factors such as deterioration of the electrode and the light emitting layer caused by oxygen, deterioration due to reaction between the light emitting layer and the interface, and deterioration easily due to external factors such as moisture, oxygen, ultraviolet rays, There are disadvantages that occur. In particular, it is very important to prevent penetration of oxygen and moisture in the organic electroluminescent display device because external oxygen and moisture have a critical effect on the lifetime of the device.
Conventionally, in forming a barrier film for moisture permeation prevention, an inorganic thin film is formed as a single layer or formed into a multilayer. However, such a structure increases the thickness of the inorganic thin film in the flexible display structure, and accordingly, there is a problem that cracks are generated due to an increase in stress. In addition, as the cracks are generated, the water-barrier property of the barrier film is deteriorated.
Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem [8] Accordingly, the present invention has been made keeping in mind the above problems occurring in the prior art, and an object of the present invention is to provide a transparent gas barrier film and a transparent gas barrier film, And a method for manufacturing the same.

상기 화학기상증착법(Chemical Vapor Deposition : CVD)은 CCP(Capacitively Coupled Plasma) 화학기상증착법 또는 ICP(Inductively Coupled Plasma) 화학기상증착법 중 어느 하나일 수 있다.
1. An inorganic film and an organic film were deposited on a base substrate 100 (for example, a polymer plastic film) by vacuum deposition. At this time, the deposition may be performed using chemical vapor deposition (CVD). The chemical vapor deposition (CVD) may be any one of capacitively coupled plasma (CCP) chemical vapor deposition and inductively coupled plasma (ICP) chemical vapor deposition. In addition, the deposition may be performed by a vacuum deposition method such as a sputtering process. That is, an organic film, an inorganic film, and an organic film are sequentially deposited on the base substrate 100. In the case of sputtering, the source is RF, MP flat plate or cylindrical electrode, and the gas used may be argon, oxygen, nitrogen, or the like. The gases were mixed or used alone. Silane, HMDSO, nitrogen, oxygen and ammonia gas were used for CVD, and RF was used as the source. The deposited inorganic film has a thickness of 100 to 200 nm, and the organic film made of the first stress relieving layer (200) and the second stress relieving layer (400) has a thickness of 100 to 300 nm.

The results for the test are as shown in FIG.
3 is a graph showing experimental results of a transparent gas barrier film according to an embodiment of the present invention.
The superiority of the transparent barrier film according to this embodiment will be described with reference to FIG.
Example 1 (sandwich structure of a single layer) and Example 2 (sandwich structure of plural layers) according to the present embodiment formed by depositing an organic film on both surfaces of an inorganic film were sandwiched between a base material 100 and a single Compared with Comparative Example 1 and Comparative Example 4 which are formed in a multi-layered structure, it can be seen that the stress and moisture permeability (WVTR) are excellent. Particularly, it can be seen that stress and moisture permeability (WVTR) are better in Example 2 in which the sandwich structure is formed in a plurality of layers. At this time, the water permeability (WVTR) is a factor showing the degree of permeation of moisture, and the lower the value, the better the property. The WVTR should be less than 10 < -3 >
In Examples 1 and 2 according to the present example in which an organic film was formed on both sides of an inorganic film by sandwich structure, the stress and moisture (moisture content) were lower than those in Comparative Example 2 in which an organic film was formed singly on the base substrate 100 It can be seen that the transmittance (WVTR) is excellent.
In the first and second embodiments of the present invention, an organic film is deposited on both sides of an inorganic film to form a sandwich structure. An inorganic film, not an organic film, is first deposited on the base substrate 100, It can be seen that stress and moisture permeability (WVTR) are superior to those of Comparative Example 3.
In the present embodiment, the stress is preferably 30 MPa or less, and the density is preferably 8.1 × 10 17 atmos / cm 2 or more.
That is, when the stress is high, internal cracks are generated, and the moisture permeation preventing property tends to deteriorate. These results can be seen from the comparison of Example 1, Example 2 and Comparative Example 2. [ Also, as the density is lower, there is a tendency that the moisture permeation prevention characteristics are deteriorated due to a large number of internal pores. These results can be seen from the comparison of Example 1, Example 2 and Comparative Examples 3 to 5.
That is, it can be seen from the above-mentioned experimental examples that when the density is high and the stress is low, the water permeability (WVTR) characteristic tends to be improved, and when the combination of the density and the stress satisfies a certain condition (WVTR) in the case of the water vapor permeability.
While the present invention has been particularly shown and described with reference to exemplary embodiments thereof, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed exemplary embodiments. It will be understood that various modifications and changes may be made without departing from the scope of the appended claims.
