Abstract

본 발명은 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 표시 및 재생장치에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 목적은 사용자가 한눈에 쉽게 알아볼 수 있고 또 영상의 미리 재생 기능을 통하여 원하는 정보를 보다 쉽게 검색하여 재생할 수 있도록 한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 표시 및 재생하는 사용자인터페이스 및 그 장치와 제어방법을 제공함에 있다.
이를 위해 본 발명은 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 분류항목을 표시하는 단계와, 분류항목에 있는 재생 가능한 이미지 형식의 파일정보를 나열하는 단계를 포함한다.

Description

멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 표시 및 재생하는 사용자인터페이스 및 그 장치와 제어방법{User interface for displaying and playing multimedia contents and apparatus comprising the same and control method thereof}
본 발명은 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 표시 및 재생장치에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 사용자가 한눈에 쉽게 알아볼 수 있고 또 영상의 미리 재생 기능을 통하여 원하는 정보를 보다 쉽게 검색하여 재생할 수 있도록 한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 표시 및 재생하는 사용자인터페이스 및 그 장치와 제어방법에 관한 것이다.
영상 및 음성매체가 발달함에 따라 고화질의 영상데이터와 고음질의 오디오데이터를 장시간동안 기록 저장할 수 있는 기록매체, 예를 들어 디브이디(이하 DVD라 함)와 같은 광디스크가 개발되어 상용화되고 있다. 또한, 광디스크에 영상 및 오디오와 같은 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 기록/재생할 수 있는 광디스크 시스템, 예를 들어 DVD 레코더 등이 개발되어 상용화되고 있다.
DVD 레코더는 DVD에 기록된 영상 및/또는 오디오를 재생하여 화면 및/또는 스피커를 통하여 출력하는 것으로, 동영상에 대한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠일 경우에는 MPEG(Moving Picture Engineer Group)에서 제한한 부호화 압축 알고리즘을 적용하 여 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 부호화하여 기록하며, 부호화된 멀티미디어 컨텐츠로부터 원래의 멀티미디어 컨텐츠로 복호화하는 과정을 거쳐 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 재생한다.
또한, PVR(Personal Video Recorder)은 방송국에서 송출되는 방송신호를 하드디스크드라이브(Hard Disk Drive : HDD) 또는 다른 저장매체에 디지털 신호로 저장하기 때문에 실시간 뿐만 아니라 사용자가 원하는 시간에 언제든지 다시 재생하여 볼 수 있는 환경을 제공하고 있다.
그러나, 종래에는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 검색할 경우, 복수의 멀티미디어 컨텐츠가 리스트 형식으로 나열되어 있기 때문에 사용자가 멀티미디어 컨텐츠가 저장된 저장소(Folder:이하 폴더라 함)를 일일이 열어 본 후에 검색이 가능하였다.
이러한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 검색 방식은 멀티미디어 컨텐츠가 저장되어 있는 폴더의 깊이가 깊을수록 원하는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 검색하기 위한 공수값이 커지며, 하위 깊이로 들어가서 일일이 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 검색해야만 사용자가 원하는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 찾을 수 있었다.
또한, 리스트 형식의 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 검색 방식은 타이틀만 확인하고 직접 재생해 봄으로써 멀티미디어 컨텐츠에 대한 구체적인 정보를 얻을 수 있었다. 따라서, 재생을 한 뒤 사용자가 원하는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠가 아닐 경우에는 다시 돌아와서 검색을 해야 하는 불편한 점이 있었다.
이와 같이, 사용자는 DVD 및 PVR의 용량이 커지고 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 수가 무한정 늘어남에 따라 방대한 양의 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 검색함에 있어서 어려움을 느끼게 되었다.
상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명은 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 분류항목을 표시하는 단계와, 분류항목에 있는 재생 가능한 이미지 형식의 파일정보를 나열하는 단계를 포함한다.
여기서, 파일정보를 선택하면, 선택된 파일정보는 활성화하여 표시하는 단계를 포함한다.
또한, 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 분류항목을 표시하는 단계는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 메인항목을 표시하는 단계와, 메인항목을 선택하면 선택된 메인항목의 세부항목인 상위항목을 표시하는 단계와, 상위항목을 선택하면 선택된 상위항목의 세부항목인 하위항목을 표시하는 단계를 포함한다.
또한, 파일정보를 활성화하여 표시하는 단계는 활성화된 파일정보의 위치를 나타내기 위해 표시바를 더 표시한다.
게다가, 파일정보를 나열하는 단계는 나열된 파일정보의 위치를 이동시키기 위해 이동바를 더 표시한다.
여기서, 파일정보는 썸네일(Thumbnail) 형식으로 나열한다.
상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명은 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 분류항목을 표시하는 단계와, 분류항목에 있는 재생 가능한 이미지 형식의 파일정보를 나열하는 단계와, 파일정보를 선택하면, 파일정보로 표시되는 파일을 미리 재생하는 단계를 포함하고, 파일을 미리 재생하는 단계는 파일의 정지명령이 입력되면, 파일을 정지시키고, 파일의 복귀명령이 입력되면 파일이 정지한 시점 이후부터 이어서 재생한다.
또한, 파일의 정지명령이 입력되면, 파일이 정지한 시점을 저장하는 단계를 포함한다.
상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명은 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 분류항목 을 입력받는 입력부와, 분류항목에 있는 재생 가능한 이미지 형식의 파일정보를 나열하는 제어부를 포함한다.
여기서, 제어부는 파일정보를 선택하면, 선택된 파일정보는 활성화하여 표시한다.
또한, 제어부는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 메인항목을 표시하고, 메인항목을 선택하면 선택된 메인항목의 세부항목인 상위항목을 표시하고, 상위항목을 선택하면 선택된 상위항목의 세부항목인 하위항목을 표시한다.
게다가, 제어부는 활성화된 파일정보의 위치를 나타내기 위해 표시바를 더 표시한다.
또한, 제어부는 나열된 파일정보의 위치를 이동시키기 위해 이동바를 더 표시한다.
상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명은 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 분류항목을 입력받는 입력부와, 분류항목에 있는 재생 가능한 이미지 형식의 파일정보를 나열하고, 파일정보를 선택하면 상기 파일정보로 표시되는 파일을 미리 재생하는 제어부를 포함하고, 제어부는 파일의 정지명령이 입력되면 파일을 정지시키고, 파일의 복귀명령이 입력되면 파일이 정지한 시점 이후부터 이어서 재생한다.
또한, 파일의 정지명령이 입력되면, 파일이 정지한 시점을 저장하는 저장부를 포함한다.
멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 표시 및 재생하는 사용자인터페이스에 있어서, 사용자 인터페이스의 상부에 배치된 하나 이상의 상위항목과, 사용자 인터페이스의 하부에 나열되어 상위항목의 세부항목을 나타내는 하나 이상의 하위항목과, 사용자 인터페이스의 중앙에 나열되는 복수의 파일정보를 포함하며, 상위항목 각각은 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 분류한 항목을 나타내고, 파일정보는 파일에 대한 부가정보를 제공하며, 사용자에 의해 선택되면 활성화된다.
여기서, 하위항목의 양측에는 하위항목을 좌우로 이동시키는 제1 이동바를 더 포함한다.
또한, 파일정보의 양측에는 파일정보를 좌우로 이동시키는 제2 이동바를 더 포함한다.
상술한 바와 같이 본 발명의 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 표시 및 재생하는 사용자인터페이스 및 그 장치와 제어방법에 따르면, 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 검색 방식을 기존의 리스트 형식이 아닌 항목에 따라 분류 및 정렬하는 사용자인터페이스 방식을 사용하여 사용자가 한눈에 쉽게 알아볼 수 있게 하며, 사용자인터페이스에서 제공하는 다양한 입력수단을 이용하여 사용자가 원하는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 효과적으로 검색할 수 있게 한다.
또한, 제목과 부가정보를 포함하는 이미지 형식의 파일정보를 제공함으로써 사용자가 일일이 폴더를 열어 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 검색해야 하는 불편함을 감소시키는 장점이 있다.
게다가, 미리 재생 기능을 제공하여 사용자가 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 재생하기 전에 어떤 파일인지 확인할 수 있으며, 연속 재생(Resume) 기능을 제공하여 멀티미 디어 컨텐츠를 미리 재생하는 중에 멀티미디어 컨텐츠가 정지되어 다시 재생하고자 하면, 정지된 시점 이후부터 이어서 재생하기 때문에 사용자에게 같은 음악이나 영상을 반복적으로 제공하는 지루함을 없애고 연속적으로 미리 재생 기능을 사용할 수 있도록 한다.
도 1은 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 표시 및 재생장치의 블록도를 나타낸다.
먼저, 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이, 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 표시 및 재생장치(100)는 입력부(110), 저장부(120) 및 제어부(130)를 포함한다.
우선, 본 발명에서 언급하는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 표시 및 재생장치(100)는 디지털 데이터를 처리하는 디지털 회로를 가진 장치로서 영상 및/또는 오디오를 제품의 화면에 디스플레이하며 재생할 수 있는 컴퓨터, 프린터, 디지털 TV, 디지털 카메라, 디지털 복사기, 개인용 디지털 단말기(PDA), 휴대폰, 이동 멀티미디어 플레이어(PMP), MP3 플레이어, 디지털 비디오 레코더 등을 예로 들 수 있다.
이하에서는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 표시 및 재생장치(100)의 각 구성요소에 대해서 상세히 설명하도록 한다.
입력부(110)는 복수의 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 중에서 실행하려는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 분류항목을 입력받는다.
예를 들면, 입력부(110)는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 종류를 선택하기 위해 메인 항목(음악, 비디오, 라디오 및 사진)을 입력받고, 메인항목에 있는 상위항목(메인항목이 음악일 경우, 장르, 선호도, 앨범, 아티스트 등이며, 메인항목이 비디오일 경우, 장르, 선호도, 배우 등)을 더 입력받는다. 또한, 상위항목에 있는 하위목록(음악에서 상위항목이 장르일 경우, 팝, 발라드, 재즈, 락, 비디오에서 상위항목이 장르일 경우, 멜로, 호러, 공포, 액션, SF)을 입력받고, 하위항목에 있는 재생 가능한 파일정보들 중에서 실행하려는 파일정보를 입력받는다.
멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 분류항목을 입력받는 입력부(110)는 키보드, 터치스크린, 마우스, 트랙볼, 개인용 디지털 단말기의 키패드 등과 같이 사용자에 의해서 직접 입력되도록 구성하는 것이 바람직하다. 또한, 방향 버튼 및 숫자 버튼이 구비된 리모컨을 이용하여 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 분류항목을 입력받을 수도 있다.
한편, 본 발명의 일실시예에서는 분류항목을 메인항목, 상위항목, 하위항목과 같이 3개의 항목으로 구분하여 설명하고 있으나, 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 표시 및 재생장치(100)의 구조, 특성 및 용량에 따라 다양한 종류와 다양한 개수의 분류항목을 입력받을 수 있다.
저장부(120)는 분류항목인 메인항목, 상위항목 및 하위항목이 분류되어 저장되어 있다. 또한, 저장부(120)는 복수의 파일정보들과 재생용 파일들과, 파일정보로 표시되는 미리 재생용 파일들이 저장된다. 여기서, 미리 재생용 파일이란 재생용 파일의 스케일을 줄여 편집한 재생용 파일을 의미한다.
또한, 저장부(120)는 재생하던 미리 재생용 파일이 정지되면, 파일의 정지시점을 저장한다.
이러한 저장부(120)는 하드 디스크, 플래시 메모리, CF(Compact Flash)카드, SD(Secure Digital)카드, SM(Smart Media)카드, MMC(Multimedia)카드 또는 메모리 스틱(Memory Stick) 등 정보의 입출력이 가능한 모듈로서 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 표시 및 재생장치(100)의 내부에 구비되어 있을 수도 있고, 별도의 장치에 구비되어 있을 수도 있다.
제어부(130)는 화면표시수단(140)을 통하여 분류항목을 표시한다.
보다 구체적으로 설명하면, 제어부(130)는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 메인항목을 표시하고, 메인항목을 선택하면 선택된 메인항목의 세부 항목인 상위항목을 표시하며, 상위항목을 선택하면 선택된 상위항목의 세부 항목인 하위항목을 표시한다.
또한, 제어부(130)는 분류항목에 있는 재생 가능한 이미지 형식의 파일정보를 나열한다. 즉, 제어부(130)는 분류항목에 상응하는 복수의 파일정보를 썸네일(Thumbnail)로 표시하여 나열하며, 파일정보에는 제목과 부가정보(음악일 경우, 아티스트, 앨범, 장르, 선호도, 비디오일 경우, 배우, 장르, 선호도 등)을 함께 표시한다.
또한, 제어부(130)는 복수의 파일정보 중 적어도 하나의 파일정보를 선택하면 선택된 파일정보는 활성화하여 표시하고, 선택된 파일정보에 인접한 파일정보들은 비활성화하여 표시한다. 이때, 썸네일로 표시되는 파일정보의 개수는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 표시 및 재생장치(100)에 구비된 화면표시수단(140)의 크기와 상황에 따라 변경 가능하다.
또한, 제어부(130)는 활성화된 파일정보의 위치를 나타내기 위해 표시 바(Indicator bar)를 표시하며, 표시바를 터치한 후, 드래그 하여 표시바의 현재 위치를 변경할 수 있으며, 하위항목을 터치하여 표시바의 위치를 변경할 수도 있다.
게다가, 제어부(130)는 파일정보의 이동명령이 입력되면 이동명령에 따라 파일정보의 위치를 이동시킨다.
즉, 제어부(130)는 파일정보 영역의 좌우에 위치한 제2 이동바를 터치하면 설정된 방향에 따라 파일정보들이 좌우로 이동하도록 제어한다. 이때, 활성화된 파일정보에 따라 표시바의 위치도 바뀌게 된다.
또한, 제어부(130)는 터치, 드래그, 스트로크(stroke)와 같은 동작으로 파일정보들의 위치를 변경할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 세 번째 썸네일로 표시된 파일정보를 터치하면 파일이 활성화되는 중앙으로 세 번째 파일이 이동하며, 세 번째 파일을 터치한 후 드래그하여 첫 번째로 다시 이동시킬 수 있다. 또한, 스트로크 동작으로 복수의 파일정보들을 빠르게 이동시킬 수 있다.
한편, 제어부(130)는 복수의 파일정보 중 적어도 하나의 파일정보를 선택하면 선택된 파일정보로 표시되는 파일은 미리 재생하고, 파일의 정지명령이 입력되면 파일을 정지한 후, 파일의 복귀명령이 입력되면 파일이 정지한 시점 이후부터 이어서 재생한다.
상술한 내용을 구체적으로 설명하면, 제어부(130)는 파일을 미리 재생하는 도중에 다른 파일의 실행이 요구되면 파일을 정지시키고, 파일이 정지한 시점을 저장부(120)에 저장하며, 다른 파일을 실행하여 표시한다. 그런 후 원래의 파일을 다 시 재생하고자 하면, 제어부(130)는 파일이 정지한 시점 이후부터 이어서 재생한다.
즉, 제어부(130)는 썸네일로 표시된 파일정보에 연속바를 제공하여 미리 재생 기능을 지원한다. 제어부(130)는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠(파일)가 음악인 경우에는 연속 재생(Resume) 기능을 함께 지원하여 'A'곡의 부가정보를 확인하며 노래를 듣다가 다른 곡을 검색하며 들은 뒤 다시 'A'곡으로 돌아올 경우 이전에 들었던 이후 시점부터 미리 재생 기능이 다시 시작되도록 한다.
또한, 제어부(130)는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠(파일)가 비디오인 경우에는 비디오의 초반부에 블랙 화면과 제작사 프로모션 화면이 있는 경우가 많은 관계로 전체 영상의 소정 퍼센트(대략 10%)가 지난 시점부터 미리 재생 기능을 지원한다. 즉, 'A' 비디오를 미리 재생 기능으로 보다가 다른 비디오들을 검색하며 본 후 다시 'A' 비디오로 복귀할 경우 이전에 보았던 이후 시점부터 미리 재생 기능이 다시 시작되도록 한다.
화면표시수단(140)은 엘씨디(LCD), 피디피(PDP), 티에프티(TFT), 유기이엘(EL), 씨알티(CRT) 등과 같이 영상데이터를 출력할 수 있는 장치를 말하며, 화면표시수단(140)이 터치스크린일 경우, 화면표시수단(140)는 영상데이터를 출력하는 출력수단의 기능과 사용자에게 명령을 입력받는 입력수단의 기능을 동시에 구현할 수 있다.
음향출력수단(150)은 스피커와 같이 파일정보로 표시되는 오디오데이터를 출력할 수 있는 장치를 말한다.
이하, 상기와 같이 구성된 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 표시 및 재생하는 사용자인터페이스 및 그 장치와 제어방법의 동작과정 및 작용효과를 설명한다.
도 2는 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 표시 및 재생장치의 제어과정을 설명하기 위한 제어 흐름도로서, 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 메인항목을 표시한다(200).
보다 구체적으로 설명하면, 도 3a에 도시된 바와 같이, 사용자인터페이스인 화면표시수단(140)을 통해 음악(Music), 라디오(Radio), 비디오(Video), 사진(Photo), 파일 브라우저(File Browser), 블루투스(Bluetooth), 임폴트(Import), 설치(Setup)와 같은 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 메인항목을 표시한다.
사용자가 메인항목 중에서 실행하려는 파일에 상응하는 메인항목(310)을 선택(201)하면, 즉, 도 3a에서 음악(310a)을 선택하면 도 3b와 같이, 메인항목(310)의 세부 항목인 상위항목(320)을 표시한다(202). 이때, 상위항목(320)은 사용자 인터페이스인 화면표시수단(140)의 상부에 배치되어 하나 이상 항목을 표시하며, 우측에 위치한 아래 화살표 모양의 선택바(320a)를 선택하면 복수의 상위항목들을 아래로 나열하여 표시한다.
아래로 나열된 상위항목 중에서 하나의 항목을 선택하면, 상위항목(320)이 선택된 항목으로 변경되며 파일정보들(340)과 하위항목(330)들이 상위항목(320)에 맞게 변경된다.
도 3a에서 메인항목(310)이 음악이므로 상위항목(320)은 음악(310a)에 상응하는 아티스트, 앨범, 노래, 장르, 선호도와 같은 메인항목(310)의 하위개념으로 분류하여 표시한다.
사용자가 상위항목(320)으로 장르를 선택(203)하면, 도 3c와 같이 장르에 속해 있는 클래식, 재즈, 팝, 발라드와 같은 하위항목(330)을 표시한다(204). 이때, 하위항목(330)은 사용자 인터페이스인 화면표시수단(140)의 하부에 배치되어 하나 이상의 하위항목(330)을 나열하여 표시하며, 하위항목(330)의 좌우 양쪽에 제1 이동바(370a, 370b)를 더 표시함으로써 제1 이동바(370a, 370b)를 선택하면, 현재 표시되지 않던 락(Rock)과 같은 하위항목들(330)을 더 볼 수 있게 한다.
사용자가 하위항목(330)을 선택(205)하면, 도 3d와 같이 하위항목(330)에 상응하는 재생 가능한 이미지 형식의 파일정보들(340)을 나열한다(206). 이때, 파일정보들(340)은 사용자 인터페이스인 화면표시수단(140)의 중앙에 나열되어 썸네일(Thumbnail)로 표시되는데, 썸네일로 표시된 파일정보(341, 342, 343)에는 제목(341a, 342a, 343a)과 앨범 이미지, 아티스트, 앨범, 장르, 선호도 등과 같은 부가정보(341b, 342b, 343b)를 함께 표시한다.
또한, 파일정보(340)의 좌우 양쪽에 제2 이동바(380a, 380b)를 더 표시함으로써 제2 이동바(380a, 380b)가 선택되면, 현재 표시되지 않던 파일정보들(340)을 더 볼 수 있게 한다. 즉, 좌측에 위치한 제2 이동바(380a)를 선택하면 파일정보들(340)이 좌측으로 이동되어 현재 표시되지 않던 우측의 파일정보들(340)을 화면표시수단(140)상에 표시하며, 우측에 위치한 제2 이동바(380b)를 선택하면, 파일정보들(340)이 우측으로 이동되어 현재 표시되지 않던 좌측의 파일정보들(340)을 화면표시수단(140)상에 표시한다.
또한, 제어부(130)는 터치, 드래그, 스트로크(stroke)와 같은 동작으로 파일정보들(340)의 위치를 변경할 수 있다. 도 4a에서 선택된 파일정보 n-1(342)을 드래그(drag)하여 우측에 있는 파일정보 n(341)의 위치로 한 칸 드롭(drop)시키면, 도 4b와 같이 파일정보 n-1(342)은 기존의 파일정보 n(341)의 위치로 이동된다. 또한, 도 5a에서 선택한 파일정보 n-1(342)을 우측에 있는 파일정보 n+2의 위치로 세칸 이동시키기 위해 스트로크 동작을 수행하면, 도 5b와 같이 파일정보 n-1(342)은 파일정보 n+2의 위치로 이동되며, 기존의 파일정보 n-1(342)의 위치에는 파일정보 n-4(348)가 위치하게 된다.
즉, 세 번째 썸네일로 표시된 파일정보를 선택하면 파일정보가 활성화되는 중앙으로 세 번째 파일정보가 이동하며, 세 번째 파일정보를 선택한 후 드래그하여 첫 번째로 다시 이동시킬 수 있다. 또한, 스트로크 동작으로 복수의 파일정보들을 빠르게 이동시킬 수 있다.
사용자가 파일정보(341)를 선택(207)하면 선택된 파일정보(341)는 활성화하여 표시하고, 파일정보에 인접한 파일정보들(342, 343)은 비활성화하여 표시한다. 활성화된 파일정보(341)는 비활성화된 파일정보들(342, 343)보다 부각되어 표시되는 것이 바람직하며, 활성화된 파일정보의 위치를 나타내기 위해 표시바(360)를 함께 표시한다.
이때, 제어부(130)는 입력부(110)에서 입력된 명령에 따라 표시바(360)의 위치를 이동시켜 활성화된 파일정보를 변경시킬 수 있다. 예를 들어, 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 표시 및 재생장치(100)가 터치스크린 방식일 경우, 사용자가 표시바(360)를 터치(선택)한 후에 드래그하여 표시바(360)의 현재 위치를 변경할 수 있으며, 하위항목(330)을 터치(선택)하여 표시바(360)의 위치를 변경할 수도 있다. 즉, 사용자가 'A'영역을 터치하면 표시바(360)가 'A'위치로 변경된다.
이와 같이 터치 또는 드래그 방식으로 표시바(360)의 위치를 변경하면 변경된 표시바(360)의 위치에 맞게 활성화되는 파일정보도 변경된다.
다음으로, 선택된 파일정보로 표시되는 파일이 미리 재생하는지 판단(208)하여 파일을 미리 재생하고자 할 경우, 파일을 미리 재생한다(209).
즉, 제어부(130)는 파일정보에 연속바(341c)를 제공하여 미리 재생 기능을 지원하며, 연속바(341c)에 클릭하여 파일의 재생위치를 변경시킬 수도 있으며, 처음부터 다시 듣도록 구성될 수 있다. 또한, 파일을 미리 재생 하기 위하여 저장부(120)에 저장된 미리 재생용 파일을 재생하거나 저장부(120)에 저장된 재생용 파일을 소정의 시간 동안(예를 들어 15초)만 재생하도록 구성된다.
또한, 선택된 파일에 대해 미리 재생하는지 판단하는 방법은 옵션에 미리 재생 동작이 자동 또는 수동으로 설정되어 있는지 판단하고, 수동으로 설정된 경우에는 사용자에 의해 미리 재생 명령이 입력되는지 판단함으로써 결정할 수 있다. 이때, 상기 미리 재생 명령은 사용자가 리모컨을 이용하여 입력할 수 있으며, 파일정보에 있는 구비된 미리 재생 버튼을 이용하여 미리 재생 명령을 입력할 수도 있다.
그 다음으로, 선택된 파일을 미리 재생하는 도중에 파일의 정지명령이 입력되는지 판단(210)하여 정지명령이 입력되면 선택된 파일의 정지시점을 저장부(120)에 저장한다(211). 여기서, 정지시점이란 파일이 재생된 시간에 관한 정보를 포함 하는 것이 바람직하다.
그 후, 파일의 복귀명령이 입력되는지 판단(212)하여 (즉, 정지된 파일을 다시 재생하고자 하는지 판단) 파일의 복귀명령이 입력되면, 파일의 정지시점 이후부터 이어서 재생한다(213).
즉, 파일을 미리 재생하는 도중에 다른 파일을 재생하기 위하여 파일을 정지시킨 후, 다른 파일을 재생하다가 다시 원래 파일을 재생하기 위해 파일을 활성화시키는 파일의 복귀명령이 입력되면, 활성화된 파일에 상응하는 정지시점을 불러와 정지시점 이후부터 재생하도록 구성된다.
도 6a 내지 도 6d는 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 멀티미디어 컨텐츠가 비디오일 경우, 표시되는 도면을 나타낸 개념도를 나타낸다.
도 6a에서 화면표시수단(140)을 통해 음악(Music), 라디오(Radio), 비디오(Video), 사진(Photo), 파일 브라우저(File Browser), 블루투스(Bluetooth), 임폴트(Import), 설치(Setup)와 같은 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 메인항목(310)을 표시한다.
사용자가 메인항목(310) 중에서 비디오(310c)를 선택하면, 도 6b에서 장르, 선호도, 배우 등과 같이 비디오(310c)를 세부적으로 분류하는 상위항목(320)을 표시한다.
사용자가 상위항목(320)으로 장르를 선택하면, 도 6c에서 공포, 멜로, 호러, SF, 액션과 같이 상위항목(320)인 장르를 세부적으로 분류하는 하위항목(330)을 표시한다.
사용자가 하위항목(330)으로 멜로를 선택하면, 도 6d에서 멜로에 상응하는 복수의 재생 가능한 이미지 형식의 파일정보(340)를 나열하고, 나열된 파일정보(340) 중에서 사용자가 실행하려는 파일정보(341)를 선택하면, 선택된 파일정보(341)는 활성화되고 파일정보(341)에 인접한 파일정보들(342, 343)은 비활성화된다.
다음으로, 파일정보(341)로 표시되는 파일(341e)은 미리 재생 되어 사용자에게 파일에 대한 정보를 미리 제공할 수 있도록 구성된다.
이하에서는 사용자인터페이스의 하부에 나열된 복수의 부가버튼(350)을 사용하여 사용자에게 부가 서비스를 제공하는 방법에 대하여 설명하도록 한다.
우선, 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 분류항목을 이용한 검색 방법 외에 사용자가 원하는 파일을 직접 찾기 위한 방법은 다음과 같다.
도 7a 및 도 7b는 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 툴 버튼을 선택하면 표시되는 도면을 나타낸 개념도로서, 도 7a를 참조하면 하단에 있는 버튼 중에서 툴 버튼(352)을 선택하면 도 7b에 도시된 바와 같이, 재생리스트의 추가, 검색 및 인포에 대한 창(A)이 표시된다.
이 중에서 검색을 선택하면, 도 7c에 도시된 바와 같이, 사용자가 직접 파일의 검색정보를 입력하기 위해 자판이 화면상으로 표시되고, 화면상으로 표시된 자판을 이용하여 사용자가 파일정보를 직접 입력한다. 이와 같은 구성으로 인해 사용자는 원하는 파일을 바로 검색할 수 있게 된다.
도 8a 및 도 8b는 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 선호도 버튼을 선택하면 표시 되는 도면을 나타낸 개념도로서, 도 8a에 도시된 바와 같이, 선호도 버튼(353)을 선택하면 도 8b에 도시된 바와 같이, 활성화된 파일정보에 있는 3개의 선호도(341d)가 하나 더 늘어나 4개의 선호도가 된다.
이런 선호도는 사용자가 상위항목(320)에 있는 선호도 항목을 선택하면, 선호도에 따라 파일을 분류할 때 이용된다.
