Claims (11)
- 제1편광자;상기 제1편광자의 편광축과 교차하는 편광축을 갖는 제2편광자;상기 제1편광자와 상기 제2편광자 사이에 배치되며, 상기 제1편광자의 상기 편광축과 상기 제2편광자의 상기 편광축에 대해 0°~ 90°범위의 각도로 그 표면에 다수의 돌기를 갖는 제1기판;상기 제1편광자와 상기 제2편광자 사이에 배치되며, 그 표면에 다수의 픽셀전극을 갖는 제2기판;상기 제1기판과 상기 제2기판 사이에 충진된 액정층을 포함하며,상기 돌기는 상기 제1기판과 상기 제2기판 사이에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티-도메인 수직 정렬 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 픽셀전극은 상기 픽셀전극의 모서리에 배치되는 다수의 슬릿을 더 포함하며, 상기 슬릿은 상기 제2기판 상의 상기 돌기의 사영과 교차하는 방향으로 연장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 슬릿과 상기 돌기의 상기 사영 사이의 교차각은 80°~ 100°범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 슬릿 중 적어도 두 개는 길이가 다른 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 슬릿의 길이는 상기 픽셀전극의 동일 모서리의 양단으로부터 상기 픽셀전극의 중심으로 점차 감소하거나 증가하도록 정렬되는 것을 특징으로하는 액정표시장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 슬릿간의 간격의 폭은 상기 픽셀전극의 동일 모서리의 양단으로부터 상기 픽셀전극의 중심으로 점자 감소하거나 증가하도록 정렬되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 슬릿간의 적어도 두 개의 간격은 다른 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1기판과 상기 제2기판은 유리기판인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 사영은 지그재그 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2편광자의 상기 편광축은 상기 제1편광자의 상기 편광축에 직교하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 액정층은 음유전이방성을 갖는 액정분자를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
