Abstract

PURPOSE: A body cleansing composition containing silver or gold power is provided which has a sterilizing and deodorizing effect against Lipophilic diphtheroids, Staphylococcus aureus and E coli. and excellent safety to a human body. CONSTITUTION: The body cleansing composition contains 0.5% or more by weight of a gold or silver component or 5ppm or more of a gold or silver ion with a size of 0.005 to 0./015μm. For an example, fine gold or silver powder is mixed with a conventional body cleansing composition containing a flavoring and dye such as p-oxybenzoic acid esters, methylchloroisothiazolinones, methylisothiazolinones, hydantoin or the like.
