Abstract

PURPOSE: A charging apparatus for LPG fuel is provided to prevent environmental pollution and accidents as fire by restricting leakage of LPG and by reusing gas with collecting and discharging leaked gas in inserting or removing a charge gun. CONSTITUTION: An LPG(Liquefied Petroleum Gas) charging device comprises an LPG charge gun connected to a quick coupling of a fuel filler to inject fuel to a vehicle; a gas shutoff case(42) installed in the ends of the quick coupling and the charge gun to prevent leak of fuel; a gas collecting case(43) connected to the gas shutoff case to collect and discharge leaked gas; a button installed around the gas collecting case to control collection of fuel; and a gas shutoff lever installed in the rear part of the charge gun to regulate LPG. Leak of fuel is prevented by collecting and discharging gas in inserting or removing the charge gun.
