Claims (20)
- 대향 배치된 셀 벽으로 형성된 셀과, 이들 셀 벽 사이의 액체 현탁 매체에 현탁된 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자를 수용한 현탁 물질을 가진 광 조절 유닛과, 상기 현탁 물질을 가로질러 전기장을 인가하기 위해 상기 셀 벽과 작동 가능하게 조합된 대향 배치된 전극 수단을 포함하며, 상기 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자는 약 200 나노미터 이하의 평균 길이를 가지는 것인 전기 광학적 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전기 광학적 장치는 광 밸브이고, 상기 현탁 물질은 광 밸브 현탁 물질인 것인 전기 광학적 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자는 약 50 ∼ 200 나노미터 범위의 평균 길이를 가지는 것인 전기 광학적 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자는 약 75 ∼ 180 나노미터 범위의 평균 길이를 가지는 것인 전기 광학적 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 광 밸브 현탁 물질은 액체 현탁 물질 또는 필름인 것인 전기 광학적 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자는 무정질 또는 결정질 탄소인 것인 전기 광학적 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자는 탄소 원섬유인 것인 전기 광학적 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 탄소 원섬유는 약 3.0 ∼ 60 나노미터 범위의 평균 직경을 가지는 것인 전기 광학적 장치.
- 광 밸브용 액체 현탁 물질에 있어서,액체 현탁 매체 중에 현탁된 이방성 형상의 탄소 함유 입자를 포함하고,상기 이방성 형상의 탄소 함유 입자는 약 200 나노미터 이하의 평균 길이를 가지는 것인 광 밸브용 액체 현탁 물질.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자는 약 50 ∼ 200 나노미터 범위의 평균 길이를 가지는 것인 광 밸브용 액체 현탁 물질.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자는 약 75 ∼ 180 나노미터 범위의 평균 길이를 가지는 것인 광 밸브용 액체 현탁 물질.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자는 무정질 또는 결정질 탄소인 것인 광 밸브용 액체 현탁 물질.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자는 탄소 원섬유인 것인 광 밸브용 액체 현탁 물질.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 탄소 원섬유는 약 3.0 ∼ 60 나노미터 범위의 평균 직경을 가지는 것인 광 밸브용 액체 현탁 물질.
- 광 밸브 및 광 밸브 현탁 물질에 이용할 수 있는 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자로서, 상기 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자는 약 200 나노미터 이하의 평균 길이를 가지는 것인 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자는 약 50 ∼ 200 나노미터 범위의 평균 길이를 가지는 것인 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자는 약 75 ∼ 180 나노미터 범위의 평균 길이를 가지는 것인 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자는 무정질 또는 결정질 탄소인 것인 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자는 탄소 원섬유인 것인 이방성 형상의 탄소 입자.
