Description
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a Fe-Si soft magnetic alloy used as a magnetic core material such as a transformer, a motor, a generator core, and a yoke material of a magnetic circuit, and more particularly, has good crushability and formability. The present invention relates to a method for producing a Fe-Si-based sintered soft magnetic alloy having excellent soft magnetic properties even at low temperatures.
Fe-Si soft magnetic alloys used for magnetic core materials such as transformer motors, generator cores, and yoke materials for magnetic circuits require high magnetic flux density, permeability, low coercive force and iron loss. In addition, the trend of using electronics and electric devices in the high frequency range is increasing recently, and accordingly, the demand for the Fe-Si soft magnetic alloy having high frequency characteristics is increasing. However, the conventionally developed Fe-Si soft magnetic alloy has a problem of high iron loss and noise when used in a high frequency region.
On the other hand, it has been known that the permeability, electrical resistance and iron loss decrease with increasing Si content in Fe-Si alloys. If the Si content is more than 3%, the material is hard and weak, which makes processing difficult. There is a disadvantage that cannot be manufactured by the rolling method.
Methods for manufacturing Fe-Si alloys to solve this problem include rapid cooling technology (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 63-72924, 63-176427), Chemical Vapor Deposition Method (Japanese Laid-Open Patent No. 62-227032). , 62-227033), powder metallurgy (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 62-27545, US Patent US 5,002,728), quenching powder manufacturing method (Korean Patent Application 95-46809), and the like.
However, when the thin plate is manufactured by the quenching method among these methods, it is difficult to be practically used due to many difficulties in actual life such as surface roughness, and the chemical vacuum deposition method is difficult to have a competitive price because of high equipment cost and high manufacturing cost.
In addition, when the sintered Fe-Si soft magnetic alloy is manufactured by the powder metallurgy method, the raw powder is usually weighed to a predetermined composition, mixed, molded, sintered, and heat treated. A predetermined amount of the powder is mixed, or only Si is alloyed with Fe in advance, and then a powder is prepared, and then a Fe-Si alloy powder is mixed with a predetermined amount of Fe powder. However, when producing Fe-Si soft magnetic alloys using these raw powders, the formability and sinterability are reduced by oxidation of Fe or Si when using a single metal powder, and when the latter Fe-Si alloy powder is used, Oxidation is lessened than when the powder is present alone, but is extremely hard, causing plastic deformation resistance to increase, resulting in poor moldability. In particular, in order to sufficiently advance the Fe-Si soft magnetic alloying using the raw powder, it must be sintered at a high temperature for a long time, and the particle size of the raw powder itself should be as small as possible, for example, 200 mesh (74 μm) or less. Although it is preferable to use this fine powder, moldability is not enough and it is expensive. The sintered compact obtained by sintering a molded article lacking the moldability of powder does not have a dense sintering density, and the soft magnetic properties are lowered.
Accordingly, the present inventors have conducted research and experiments to solve the problems in the manufacturing of the Fe-Si soft magnetic alloy using the conventional powder metallurgy method, and based on the results, the present invention proposes Fe. -The base material to which one or two or more kinds of alloying elements are added to the Si-based alloy is dissolved, and then rapidly cooled to prepare a powder, which is then blended, molded and sintered under the appropriate conditions to obtain good crushability and formability. In particular, it is an object of the present invention to provide a method for producing a Fe-Si-based sintered soft magnetic alloy having high sintered density at low temperatures and excellent soft magnetic properties, which can be used even in a high frequency region.
상기 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 발명은 Fe-Si을 주성분으로 하는 연자성 합금의 제조방법에 있어서, Fe-Si+Mx 화합물 조성으로 구성되고, M은 B, Sn, Cr, V, P, C, Al, Zn 중에서 선택된 1종 또는 2종 이상이며, X는 중량%로 0.1-2%의 조성범위로 이루어진 모재를 불활성 분위기중에서 플라즈마 아크로 용융한 후, 8-35m/sec의 회전 속도 범위로 냉각하여 급냉 분말을 제조하는 단계;In order to achieve the above object, the present invention comprises a Fe-Si + Mx compound composition in the method for producing a soft magnetic alloy containing Fe-Si as a main component, M is B, Sn, Cr, V, P, C, One or two or more selected from Al and Zn, and X is melted by a plasma arc in an inert atmosphere in a composition range of 0.1-2% by weight, and then cooled to a rotation speed range of 8-35 m / sec. Preparing a quench powder;
상기 급냉 분말을 분쇄하여 38-150μm의 입도범위로 분급하는 단계;Grinding the quench powder and classifying it into a particle size range of 38-150 μm;
Adding a binder in the range of 0.5-4% by weight based on the weight of the Fe—Si alloy powder to the powder, mixing the same, and molding the powder in a pressure range of 1-10 ton / cm 2 ; And
It relates to a method of manufacturing a Fe-Si-based sintered soft magnetic alloy comprising a; sintering the molded body for 0.5-4 hours in the temperature range of 1100-1350 ℃.
EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION Hereinafter, this invention is demonstrated in detail.
First, the base material according to the present invention is formed by adding a third alloy element to the Fe-Si-based alloy, the third element is selected from B, Sn, Cr, V, P, C, Al, Zn Species or two or more thereof, and the composition thereof is in a composition range of 0.1-2% by weight (hereinafter referred to as '%'). At this time, if the amount of the added element is less than 0.1%, it is difficult to see the effect of adding the sintering temperature to a low temperature, and if it is 2% or more, the magnetic flux density drops sharply. The base metal thus formed is melted by plasma in an inert atmosphere, and then the Fe-Si alloy in a molten state is rapidly cooled to prepare a powder. The rapid cooling method may be, for example, a eviction-type melt rotation method shown in Korean Patent Registration No. 061335. Specifically, it is preferable to prepare a microcrystalline alloy powder having a size of 1-50 μm by rapidly cooling the base metal in the molten state by setting the speed of the rapid cooler to a speed range of 8-35 m / sec. In the case of using the above apparatus, when the rotor speed is 8 m / sec or less, the force for discharging the alloy in the molten state is weak to obtain the desired Fe-Si alloy powder, and the rotor speed may be 35 m / sec or more. Since there is a phase problem, it is preferable to rapidly cool the rotating body speed in the range of 8-35 m / sec.
The particle form of the Fe-Si alloy powder obtained by such rapid cooling is in the form of flakes, in an organic solvent such as hexane, acetone, alcohol, or inert atmosphere such as argon gas or in air. Grind and classify in a particle size range of 38-150 μm using a sieve of 100-400 mesh. Conventional soft powder is easy to oxidize due to Si and easy to decrease the sinterability, but in the present invention there is almost no phenomenon that the sinterability is reduced by oxidation of additive elements, etc., the sintering density is improved, the structure after sintering is very uniform and soft It is beneficial for improving magnetic characteristics.
The quenched powder pulverized as described above is mixed with a binder such as wax, and the binder is mixed with 0.5-3%, dissolved in an organic solvent such as alcohol or acetone, and mixed in a liquid state to apply uniformly to the quench powder. It is more preferable because it becomes. When the amount of the binder is 0.5% or less, it is difficult to expect a sufficient effect as a binder, and when the amount is more than 3%, the amount is too large, so that molding is difficult and it is difficult to remove the binder completely during the sintering process. % Is preferred.
After filling the powder mixed with the binder in the mold as described above, to produce a molded body by compression molding at a pressure of 1-10ton / cm 2 , when the molding pressure is 1ton / cm 2 or less to maintain the strength of the low molding pressure Since it is difficult and the molding pressure is high at 10 ton / cm 2 or more and the mold is severely damaged, it is preferable to perform compression molding with the molding pressure in the range of 1 to 10 ton / cm 2 .
The molded product obtained as described above is sintered in vacuum or argon or hydrogen atmosphere at a temperature range of 1100-1350 ° C. for 0.5-4 hours to densify the sintering density. In this case, the sintering temperature is lower than 1100 ° C. under sintering conditions. It is preferable to set the sintering temperature to 1100-1350 ° C. because the magnetic properties are lowered because sufficient density does not occur, and the sintering temperature is excessively high at 1350 ° C. or higher, causing melting to collapse, thereby forming the molded body.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail through examples.
1]Example 1
Fe ingot and Si were weighed in a Fe-6.5% Si composition, and the additive element M (1 or 2 or more of M = B, Sn, Cr, V, P, C, Al, and Zn) was 0.1 After the addition of -1%, the quenching powder of ribbon shape was produced by the fusion melting rotor after completely melting with plasma arc in argon (Ar) atmosphere. It was 16 m / sec.
The quench ribbon prepared as described above had an average thickness of 10-20 μm, and all of the quench ribbons were crystalline.
The quenched powder prepared as described above was pulverized in a argon atmosphere using a rotor mill and then classified using 100 mesh and 400 mesh using a sieve specified in ASTM E11 to have a particle size of 38-150 μm. Powder was obtained. The powder thus classified was mixed with a binder and then molded into a core at a vertical pressure of 8 t / cm 2 , and these molded bodies were sintered at 1250 ° C. for 1 hour in a vacuum atmosphere. This sintered compact was gas-cooled using argon gas from sintering temperature to normal temperature.
The density and soft magnetic properties of the sintered cores prepared as described above were measured, and are shown in Table 1 together with the values for the sintered bodies prepared by the conventional powder method and quench powder.

As shown in Table 1, in the case of the inventive material (1-8), which is a sintered core manufactured by adding an appropriate amount of one of the alloy elements presented in the present invention to the Fe-6.5% Si-based alloy, it is prepared by a conventional powder method. Compared with the conventional material (1) or the comparative material (1-2) made from the quench powder, the soft magnetic properties were much better and the sintered density was also higher.
2]Example 2

The density and soft magnetic properties of the sintered cores prepared as described above were measured and the results are shown in Table 2 below. The results were compared with the sintered cores of Fe-6.5% Si composition using powder metallurgy and quenching powder.

As shown in Table 2, in the case of the inventive material (9-12), it can be seen that it exhibits high sintered density and excellent soft magnetic properties even at low temperature and short sintering time, and when the sintering temperature is increased within the scope of the present invention, The density was increased and soft magnetic properties were improved. However, it has been found that the conventional material (2) manufactured by the conventional powder method is inferior to the optimum conditions of the present invention even though it is sintered at a high sintering temperature for a long time. In addition, it can be seen that the comparative magnetic material 3, which is sintered at a high temperature without addition of an alloying element, is inferior in soft magnetic properties to the inventive material 9-12 which is sintered at a lower temperature.
As described above, the present invention has a good crushability and formability by grinding, mixing, molding and sintering a base material formed by adding a suitable raw material to a Fe-Si soft magnetic material, and particularly having a high sintered density at low temperatures. It is possible to provide a small alloy having excellent magnetic properties, and the provided alloy has an effect that can be usefully applied to an electric device used in a high frequency environment.
