Abstract
Description
Embodiments of the present invention relate to a sediment collection device. More specifically, it relates to a sediment collection device for collecting sediment accumulated on the bottom of the water for water quality investigation or ecosystem investigation.
In general, in order to investigate a river, reservoir, or marine environment, sediment accumulated on the bottom of the water may be collected and components of the sediment may be investigated, and the degree of aquatic ecosystem and environmental pollution may be determined through this. For example, a vehicle capable of moving underwater may be used to collect the sediment, and a suction nozzle for collecting the sediment may be mounted on the vehicle.
For example, Korean Patent Registration Nos. 10-1133091 and 10-1386420 disclose devices for collecting sediment, dredging of the bottom of the water, cleaning, and the like. However, there is a problem in that driving of an underwater vehicle becomes difficult when a tidal flat is formed due to accumulation of sticky sediment or mud on the bottom of the water, which increases the time and cost required for collection of the sediment or dredging work. Problems may arise.
In addition, the devices may include a screw for crushing sediments accumulated on the bottom of the water, but in the case of sediments that are left for a long time and solidified or adhesive sediments are solidified, crushing by the screw may be difficult. .
