Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an air purification device, and more particularly, to an adsorption filter capable of continuously regenerating and using an adsorption filter by adsorbing a pollutant in the air flowing into an adsorption filter including a moving bed of an adsorption member and undergoing a regeneration process It relates to an air purifier.
With the progress of industrialization, the atmospheric environment is getting worse and the types of pollutants are diversifying, and various harmful substances such as particles harmful to the human body, fine dust, gas, living odors, bacteria, and viruses are rapidly increasing.
Accordingly, in modern society, the importance of filters that filter out air pollutants and prevent pollution of air quality and air purification devices that change polluted air into fresh air are becoming increasingly important.
The air purification apparatus may be classified into a filter method, an electrostatic precipitation method, or a water filter method according to an air purification method. A filter-type air purifying device filters harmful substances larger in size than the pores by using pores included in various filters such as nonwoven fabrics. The electrostatic precipitation type air purification device generates a high voltage inside the device and collects harmful substances with static electricity. In the case of a recently developed and commercialized water filter type air purifier, it purifies the air by precipitating harmful substances in the air using the adsorption power of water.
However, such a filter, various pollutants in the air, such as ammonia, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde, xylene, acetaldehyde, toluene, acetic acid, ozone, hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, methane, hydrogen, alcohol, such as gas phase It is difficult to effectively purify pollutants and odors, as well as biological pollutants such as mold, pathogenic bacteria, and viruses.
This is because the removal mechanism is different depending on the type of contaminant. In general, harmful substances with high molecular weight can be removed by an ultrafine filter containing micropores or activated carbon.
Meanwhile, indoor air purifiers up to now use an adsorption filter in which activated carbon powder is coated on a nonwoven fabric or activated carbon formed in pellet form is placed in a frame of a certain standard in order to purify polluted air.
The configuration of a typical air purifier filter includes a pre-filter, an adsorption (deodorization) filter, and a HEPA filter.
Although the adsorption filter differs depending on the degree of contamination after initial installation, it must be replaced with a new one after 6 months or 1 year of use.
The above-described technical configuration is a background for helping understanding of the present invention, and does not mean a conventional technique widely known in the technical field to which the present invention pertains.
