Description
The present invention relates to a 3D electronic circuit printing technology, and more particularly, to a 3D electronic circuit printing apparatus capable of manufacturing a pattern of a three-dimensional electronic circuit board while minimizing damage to the polymer at the base.
Basically, a 3D printer is a machine that designs using a design program such as CAD and creates a 3D structure based on design data.
In addition, the scale of 3D printer-related technologies and services is increasing every year, and the reason why 3D printers are in the spotlight is that they are applied in various fields such as medicine, industry, and aviation, and complex structures can be manufactured simply by using the 3D printer.
On the other hand, the electronic circuit board consists of a non-conductive base and a conductive wire through which signal and power lines flow, and the fabrication is made by exposing and etching the conductive wire to form a pattern and electroplating the VIA and soldering parts. making.
Recently, a technique for directly printing a conductor using a flexible film-type flexible substrate at the base has been developed.
At this time, in a three-dimensional circuit using three-dimensional printing, there is a difficulty in manufacturing a copper material having good electrical properties by a printing technique because of the thermal fragility of the printing material.
Currently, due to these problems, methods such as printing the conductor part using a conductor ink containing silver nanoparticles or copper nanoparticles, drying and xenon light sintering have been previously developed, but this is not a method for directly melting copper particles and solidifying them. , the reality is that only a method of sintering by administering thermal energy is possible in order to print a solid copper conductor part using copper powder.
At this time, if an accurate solidified copper conductor is not generated, the electrical resistance value increases, resulting in a drop in the potential difference of the signal line, heat is generated in a high frequency circuit or a circuit with a high current, and circuit breakage occurs easily.
In addition, copper not only has electrical conductivity, but also has high thermal conductivity, so that excess thermal energy during sintering flows along the conductor and causes damage to the underlying insulator (polymer).
An object of the present invention is to provide a 3D electronic circuit printing apparatus capable of manufacturing a pattern of a three-dimensional electronic circuit board while minimizing damage to the polymer at the base.
To this end, the present invention provides a storage unit for storing the metal powder material, a molding unit for stacking the metal powder material by irradiating a laser and printing an electronic circuit, and the metal powder material stored in the storage unit for the molding unit A powder supply unit for supplying a focal point to which a laser beam is irradiated, a base material bed on which the substrate of the electronic circuit is placed, and a control unit for controlling the base material bed, the powder supply unit, and the molding unit for the electronic circuit printing process And, the control unit, while selectively supplying the metal powder material through the powder supply unit along the wire circuit path of the electronic circuit set by moving the base material bed or the molding unit during irradiation with the laser beam, the base material bed It provides a three-dimensional electronic circuit printing apparatus for laminating the circuit portion of the electronic circuit by irradiating the laser beam to the point on which the metal powder material is placed.
In addition, the laser is preferably a pulse laser.
In addition, the powder supply unit may be provided with a mesh structure.

In addition, it may further include an air curtain module formed on a side surface of the molding unit to inject gas to a point where the metal powder material is placed, and a second gas supply line for supplying the gas to the air curtain module.
In addition, copper powder may be used as the metal powder material.
The present invention has the advantage of minimizing the damage to the base polymer by rapidly sintering the metal powder for printing the electronic circuit while minimizing heat dissipation by using a pulsed laser when printing the three-dimensional electronic circuit.
In addition, it is possible to more effectively pulverize the agglomerated metal powder using the mesh-type structure, so that the metal powder having a thickness of several tens of μm is evenly distributed, thereby improving the completeness of the output.
In addition, it blocks contact with oxygen through the voids between the metal powders, and even if the metal powder is sintered, a cooling effect can be obtained immediately.

Then, in the electronic circuit, the part where the conductor is to be generated is patterned according to the CAD model (S140), and copper powder is selectively supplied through the nozzle according to the predetermined conductor pattern (S150), and the copper powder ( powder) is irradiated with a picosecond or femtosecond laser to stack the circuit part (S160), and post-processing is performed and finished (S170).
For the above-described three-dimensional electronic circuit printing process, as shown in FIG. 2 , using a 3D printing apparatus using a mesh-type structure according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the copper powder is placed on the substrate 1 By irradiating a picosecond or femtosecond laser, the circuit part is laminated. At this time, the 3D printing apparatus for printing non-conductive parts is well known as a method of laminating using a filament material, so a detailed description will be omitted, and the configuration of the 3D printing apparatus for printing the conductive part will be mainly described.
2 and 3, the
The laser used in the
At this time, the picosecond or femtosecond laser is a method of irradiating instantaneous light energy in the form of a pulse in a very limited area of the focal region. Since plasma is generated during time, there is an advantage in that damage to the polymer at the base can be minimized because there is little heat energy transferred to the outside other than the energy required for sintering.
On the other hand, in a 3D printer using a metal powder material of several tens of μm, it is essential to evenly distribute the powder, and for this, the
The
As described above, since it is necessary to evenly distribute the metal powder of several tens of μm using the mesh-like structure, the main components of the
First, the
Next, it is preferable that the negative
Such a sound
Here, the negative
That is, it is preferable that the negative
In addition, since the negative
In addition, referring to FIG. 3 , the end 23 of the
The negative
Now, the pulverization principle and action of the metal powder material supplied through the
The automatic powder grinding and supplying device using negative pressure of the present invention, with reference to FIGS. 4 and 6, supplies the metal powder material through the
Negative pressure means atmospheric pressure lower than atmospheric pressure, and the powder can be moved in a desired direction using positive and negative pressures. When a negative pressure is provided to the
That is, the metal powder material stored in the
4 to 6 are diagrams illustrating an automatic powder pulverization supply process using a mesh structure in the 3D printing apparatus according to the present invention.
FIG. 4 is configured so that a plurality of
That is, in the method of arranging the
In addition, if the
In this way, when the
Meanwhile, FIGS. 5 and 6 are plan cross-sectional views showing a different type of mesh arrangement structure, and show a configuration in which the
In particular, the 3D printing apparatus according to the present invention is similar to the DED (Direct Energy Deposition) method, which is a three-dimensional metal printer, but the DED is a cladding method in which a laser is output to a powder material and a melting pool is generated in the base material, then the material is administered, In the present invention, there is a difference in configuration in the method of selectively sintering only the pattern part as the conductor part part. This will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2 and FIGS. 7 and 8 .
First, as described in FIGS. 1 and 2, the 3D printing apparatus according to the present invention includes a
7 is a view showing a mechanism for a copper powder supply method in the 3D printing apparatus according to the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 7 , in the present invention, unlike the conventional DED or laser welding technology, copper metal powder is first supplied to a designated point on the printed circuit board instead of the above-described cladding method, so that a sufficient amount of powder for the focal length of the laser beam It is characterized by the time of preparation of the powder material and the method of supply.
(S150).As described above, in the 3D electronic circuit printing process according to the present invention, the part to be formed with the conductor in the electronic circuit is patterned according to the CAD model (S140), and the conductor line channel is processed through the patterning process (S150). ).
(S160). Next, the control unit moves the
As described above, in the present invention, copper powder is supplied to the
In addition, an appropriate amount of copper powder is supplied from the side of the copper powder in advance to the focal point part (the pattern forming part in the wire circuit path), and the
In addition, copper powder is supplied through the
In the present invention, in order to prevent copper oxidation, the copper powder is no longer supplied after the copper powder is piled up and supplied to the
8 is a view showing the configuration of an oxidation prevention mechanism that blocks copper oxidation in addition to the mechanism for the copper powder supply method of FIG. 7 in the 3D printing apparatus according to the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 8 , even in the tool head (laser module part) of the
9 and 10 are examples of an electronic circuit printing process according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, respectively. FIG. 9 is a photographic image taken from above after filling a channel with copper powder and irradiating a laser, and FIG. 10 is a laser on copper powder. It shows an image of a solidified copper bar by irradiating it.
Referring to FIG. 9 , it is a close-up photograph of only the portion that has been sintered after irradiating a laser directly onto the copper powder and moving in a straight line.
Referring to FIG. 10, the PLA material was printed and a channel of 1 mm depth was dug on the printing surface, copper powder was filled there, and a laser was irradiated in the channel length direction, and then a picture taken from above and a scene This is a photograph taken in the direction of the cross-section by shaking off the powder and hitting the cross-section, and it can be confirmed that the lead wire is generated in the base without significant damage to the base even in the base material of a low temperature such as PLA.
