Description
The present invention relates to a graphene manufacturing apparatus using a flash lamp, and more particularly, to an apparatus capable of economically manufacturing a large area graphene using a flash lamp.
Graphene refers to a flat monolayer structure in which carbon atoms are filled into a two-dimensional (2D) lattice, which forms the basic structure of graphite materials of all other dimensional structures. That is, the graphene may be a basic structure of graphite stacked in a 0-dimensional structure of fullerene, a 1-dimensional structure of nanotubes, or a 3-dimensional structure. In 2004, Novoselev et al. reported that a single layer of free-standing graphene was obtained on top of a SiO 2 /Si substrate, which was experimentally discovered by a mechanical microsegmentation method.
Recently, many research groups have found that graphene has peculiar physical properties (e.g., due to its honeycomb (honeycomb) crystal structure, two mutually penetrating triangular lower lattice structures, and the thickness corresponding to one atomic size). For example, note that it shows a zero band gap). In addition, graphene has a peculiar charge transport property, and due to this, graphene shows a unique phenomenon that has not been observed before. For example, the semi-integer quantum Hall effect and the bipolar supercurrent transistor effect are examples, and this is also believed to be due to the specific structure of graphene described above.
In the process and application of graphene, it is very important to prevent agglomeration of graphene. That is, graphene in the form of flakes (sheets) having a thickness of one atomic size exhibits a property to be aggregated due to the surface energy of each other, which makes it very difficult to prepare graphene directly, especially in a hydrophilic solvent. Therefore, most of the current research groups are manufacturing graphene by a relatively complex process, first manufacturing graphine oxide (GO) by a modified Hummer method and then reducing it again (Prior Art 1). . In addition to the graphene oxide prepared by the oxidation process, as another conventional technique, an organic solvent for exfoliating graphite in an organic solvent such as N-methyl-pyrrolidone, γ-butyrolactone, and dispersing the obtained graphene -Based graphene manufacturing method has been disclosed (prior art 2). That is, the organic solvent method is a technology for preventing aggregation between graphene by using mutual energy between graphene and organic solvent at a level similar to that between graphene and graphene sheets. However, the graphene size obtained in the prior art 1 and 2 is only a nanometer to a micrometer level. Therefore, there is a problem in that the prior art 1 and 2 are unsuitable for manufacturing large-area graphene.
Another method of producing graphene is a mechanical micro-segmentation method in which a graphene sheet is physically peeled off from graphite by tape or the like, and then repeatedly laminated on a silicon substrate (prior art 3). However, since the size of the graphene obtained in the prior art 3 is only tens to hundreds of microns, this also has a problem that it is unsuitable for manufacturing a large-area graphene film. The recently reported method of manufacturing large-area graphene by chemical vapor deposition has a disadvantage in that it requires a complicated process and an expensive device. Consequently, the presently disclosed prior art has a limitation in that it requires a considerable amount of time or is economically unsuitable for manufacturing a large area graphene film.
As a graphene manufacturing apparatus for overcoming the limitations of the prior art as described above and for manufacturing large-area graphene in an economical manner, Korean Patent Application Laid-Open Publication No. 10-2012-0053489 describes on a substrate in a chamber filled with a reactive gas. An apparatus for growing graphene on a substrate by irradiating light from a flash lamp with a stacked catalytic metal layer is disclosed (Prior Art 4). However, in the case of the prior art 4, while graphene is well formed at the edge of the substrate, there is a problem that it is not well formed at the center of the substrate. This will be described with reference to FIG. 1 schematically showing the state of the substrate in the process of manufacturing graphene according to the prior art 4. In the graphene manufacturing apparatus of the prior art 4, light from a flash lamp is irradiated to the entire area of the

According to the present invention, all the objects of the present invention described above can be achieved.
The
The
The
The
In the present embodiment, it is described that the through
