Description
The present invention relates to an apparatus for manufacturing a hollow fiber membrane used as a separator.
Hollow fiber refers to a hollow fiber, and hollow fiber membrane refers to a separator (filter) using hollow fiber. Membranes used to separate certain components such as gases, liquids or solids, in particular ionic materials, are suitably combined with a dense structure or porous structure to selectively permeate and exclude certain components, while providing permeability to the material to be separated. The material is designed to communicate with low resistance.
Recently, many membrane separation technologies using a separation membrane having such a structure have been applied to a process of treating purified water and wastewater. Such membranes for water treatment can be classified according to materials and performance.
First, the classification according to the material may be classified into a polymer film, a ceramic film, and a metal film depending on which of polymer, ceramic, and metal is used. And, depending on the performance can be classified into a microfiltration membrane (MF: Microfiltrarion), ultrafiltration membrane (UF: Ultrafiltration), nanofiltration membrane (NF: Nanofiltration), reverse osmosis (RO: Reverse Osmosis).
In particular, the ultrafiltration membrane used in the water treatment field uses a mechanism of separating a specific substance by the difference in size between the membrane pore and the solute with the pressure difference as the driving force, and passes the ionic substance, Has the property to remove. The ultrafiltration membranes vary depending on the criteria but usually have a pore size in the range of 0.1 to 0.01 μm. Ultrafiltration membranes having such characteristics have a wide range of applications such as process water, ultrapure water pretreatment, reuse, sewage treatment, and water purification. However, the ultrafiltration membrane has a relatively small permeability because the membrane pore size is relatively smaller than that of the microfiltration membrane.
Non-solvent-induced phase separation (NIPS) is a method of preparing a membrane to form a porous structure by solidifying a non-solvent by casting and extruding a polymer solution at a low temperature where thermal phase separation does not occur. ) Is generally used, and Thermally Induced Phase Separation (SRM) is used to produce a separator by spinning, cooling, and solidifying at a temperature at which the resin rises above a temperature at which phase separation occurs by heat.
In the preparation of the membrane by non-solvent induced phase separation or thermal induced phase separation, a method of increasing porosity through phase separation when a solution composition of a polymer is blended at an appropriate ratio is used. However, it has been pointed out that controlling the composition to create an asymmetric porous structure not only consumes a large amount of the required compound but also results in that the result is not controlled as desired.

The polymer material is dissolved together with a solvent and an additive in a reactor-type equipment equipped with a stirrer to remove bubbles, and is extruded by the pressure of nitrogen or a gear pump to be emitted from the
As shown, the
The
The
In some cases, the
The present invention relates to an aerosol that forms membrane pores by contact with the polymer solution filament while passing through the
When the aerosol is attached to the surface of the filament before the polymer solution filament is immersed in the
The
The
A high concentration of aerosol atmosphere is formed inside the
The polymer solution filament having the aerosol attached to the surface of the polymer solution filament is immersed in the
Part of the aerosol attached to the polymer solution filament is lowered aerosol concentration air is discharged through the
The hollow fiber
Hereinafter, the hollow fiber
2 is a conceptual diagram of a hollow fiber
The hollow fiber
When a temperature gradient is formed inside the
Since the aerosol is induced on the surface of the polymer solution filament passing through the center portion of the

The hollow fiber
The
When heat is supplied from the
The hollow fiber membrane manufacturing apparatus described above is not limited to the configuration and method of the embodiments described above, the embodiments may be configured by selectively combining all or part of each embodiment so that various modifications can be made. .
