Description
The present invention relates to a device for diagnosing damage to a structure using a composite material and to a method for diagnosing damage to the structure. In general, the visual perception of human phenomena accounts for about 80% of the senses. In other words, there is an instinct to visually check anything. However, many of the physical phenomena we are dealing with are mostly invisible.
The existence of the reality is well known but the most representative of the physical phenomena not directly seen is stress. Of course, it is possible to make rough inferences through deformation, but it will be very difficult to recognize the reality of stress if the deformation is small enough to be difficult to discern by eye.
Therefore, in actual research and industrial sites, indirect methods are followed by complex auxiliary devices for stress recognition. For example, strain gauges, ultrasonics, and X-rays are used to visualize stresses, but these methods all have the problem of requiring expensive and complicated instrumentation. Moreover, there was a problem of a kind of indirect measurement that is different from what can be seen directly.

First, referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a structure failure diagnosis apparatus (hereinafter, a structure damage diagnosis apparatus) using a composite material according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described.
The structural failure diagnosis apparatus includes a
For example, the
The
The
In the present embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 2, two pairs of the
As described above, the electrical
The
The
Therefore, the control unit receiving the resistance value measured by the electrical
Meanwhile, in the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, the composite material manufactured from the
4 is a conceptual diagram of a structural
Through the
Hereinafter, a method of diagnosing a structure using the structure breakage diagnosis apparatus as described above will be described with reference to FIG. 5.
(S115) First, the diagnostic method of the structure will be briefly described with reference to FIG. 5 as follows. When external force is applied to the
The
In this embodiment, the external force applied to the
Since the electrical
On the other hand, the structure failure diagnosis device not only to derive the damage information of the
After the failure information is derived, the maximum load that the
However, when the
