부착수단에 의해 문에 부착되는 문 부착판과, 역시 부착수단에 의해 문틀에 부착되고 상기 문부착판과 직각으로 형성되는 문틀 부착판과, 상기 문 부착판과 문틀 부착판에 각각 연결되어 문틈을 커버하기 위한 신축판과, 상기 신축판의 단면은 "U"자 형상으로 이루어지는 여닫이문용 손끼임 방지장치에 있어서,
상기 문 부착판으로 부터 직각으로 연장되어 문의 일측면에 밀착된 상태로 문을 지지하기 위한 문 밀착판이 형성되고,
상기 문틀 부착판으로 부터 직각으로 연장되어 문틀의 일측면에 밀착된 상태로 문틀을 지지하기 위한 문틀 밀착판이 형성되며,
상기 문 밀착판과 문틀 밀착판의 양단에는 신축판의 양단이 연결되도록 하되,
상기 신축판은 "U"자형 단면의 주름이 형성되고 상기 주름의 "U"자형 단면의 끝단에는 단면이 호형상인 커버판이 각각 형성되도록 하여 문이 닫혔을 때는 한쌍의 커버판의 각각의 끝단이 절개부를 사이에 두고 서로 밀착되어 신축판을 커버하도록 하고, 문이 열렸을 때는 절개부에 의해 신축판이 벌어져 문틀과 문 사이를 차단할 수 있도록 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 문틈 커버를 겸하는 여닫이문용 손끼임 방지장치.
