Description
The present invention relates to a substrate for an organic light emitting device, a method of manufacturing the same, and an organic light emitting diode having the same, and more particularly, to a substrate for an organic light emitting device capable of improving light extraction efficiency without a pattern exposed to the outside, And an organic light emitting device having the same.
Generally, an organic light emitting diode (OLED) includes an anode, a light emitting layer, and a cathode. Here, when a voltage is applied between the anode and the cathode, holes are injected from the anode into the electron injection layer, and the electrons are injected into the electron injection layer through the electron transport layer and the electron transport layer. At this time, the holes and electrons injected into the light emitting layer recombine in the light emitting layer to generate excitons, and the excitons emit light while transitioning from an excited state to a ground state.
Meanwhile, the OLED display is divided into a passive matrix and an active matrix according to a method of driving N × M pixels arranged in a matrix form.
Here, in the case of the active matrix type, a unit pixel region defining a light emitting region and a unit pixel driving circuit for applying a current or voltage to the pixel electrode are located in a unit pixel region. At this time, the unit pixel driving circuit has at least two thin film transistors (TFTs) and one capacitor, so that a constant current can be supplied regardless of the number of pixels, have. Such an active matrix type organic light emitting display has a merit that it consumes less power and is advantageous for high resolution and large display applications.
However, as shown in FIG. 3, only about 20% of the emission amount of the organic light emitting device is emitted to the outside, and about 80% of the light is emitted to the
As a typical method for solving the problem, there is a method of increasing the efficiency of extracting external light using a micro lens array. However, since the irregularities of the light extracting layer protrude to the outside of the microlens array, damage to the microlens array due to an external impact or contamination due to foreign matter is easy, and image blurring due to the lens is caused when the microlens array is used for a display .
In addition, there is a photonic crystal method of changing the optical waveguide path inside the light emitting layer by the internal light extraction method. This method requires a planarization layer and it is difficult to make it large. In addition, the micro cavity method using the resonance effect can increase the luminous efficiency. However, as the viewing angle increases, color distortion, that is, color shift occurs on the side.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a substrate for an organic light emitting device capable of improving light extraction efficiency without a pattern exposed to the outside, a method of manufacturing the substrate, and a method of manufacturing the same. And an organic electroluminescent device.
To this end, the present invention provides a substrate for an organic light emitting device, wherein the substrate is a glass substrate on which an organic light emitting device is deposited, and a plurality of crystallized particles are distributed in the substrate.

At this time, the crystallized particles may have a size of 10 nm to 500 nm.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method of manufacturing a substrate made of glass on which an organic light emitting device is deposited, wherein crystallization particles are formed in the glass during the heat treatment of the glass .
Here, the glass may include at least one nucleating material among the group of nucleating materials including Pt, Zr, Li, ZrO 2, and P 2 O 5 .
Also, the glass can be heat treated at a temperature higher than the transition temperature and lower than the melting temperature.
In addition, the present invention provides a display device comprising: a substrate made of glass and having a plurality of crystallized particles distributed therein; An anode formed on the substrate; An organic light emitting layer laminated on the anode; And a cathode stacked on the organic light emitting layer.
Here, the crystallized particles may be randomly distributed in the glass.
The crystallized particles may have a size of 1 mu m or less.
At this time, the crystallized particles may have a size of 10 nm to 500 nm.
According to the present invention, by forming nano-sized crystallized particles inside a glass substrate, light refraction occurs inside the glass substrate, thereby preventing a wave guiding phenomenon occurring in the glass substrate, A clear image can be achieved without reducing the resolution.
Further, according to the present invention, since the surface of the glass substrate itself can be used without any additional processing, a conventional planarization step is not necessary, and the manufacturing process can be simplified.
Further, according to the present invention, it is possible to prevent a color shift and to have a large area.

Hereinafter, a substrate for an organic light emitting diode, a method of manufacturing the same, and an organic light emitting diode having the same will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
In the following description of the present invention, detailed description of known functions and configurations incorporated herein will be omitted when it may make the subject matter of the present invention rather unclear.
As shown in FIG. 1, a
Here, although not shown, the organic light emitting device includes a stacked structure of an anode, an organic light emitting layer, and a cathode disposed between the
Meanwhile, as described above, the
Here, in the embodiment of the present invention, a large number of crystallized
The
The crystallized
At this time, it is preferable that the crystallized
2 is a graph showing the results of simulation on the light extraction efficiency according to the crystallized particle size. For the simulation of the crystallized
The crystallized
As described above, in the embodiment of the present invention, instead of forming the concave-convex structure to improve the light extraction efficiency on the surface of the substrate as in the prior art, the
While the invention has been shown and described with reference to certain preferred embodiments thereof, it will be understood by those of ordinary skill in the art that various changes in form and details may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.
