Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a substrate deposition apparatus, and more particularly, to a substrate deposition apparatus capable of improving deposition uniformity by minimizing an internal temperature deviation of a deposition source unit containing an organic material.
Recently, a variety of thin film patterns are formed for the fabrication of semiconductor or flat panel displays. Such thin film patterns can be implemented by a deposition process or a photolothography process.
Here, unless there are special circumstances, the deposition process is mainly used in consideration of the manufacturing cost. The thin film deposition process can be roughly divided into physical vapor deposition (PVD) and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) .
Among them, the physical vapor deposition method is a method of depositing a deposition material on the surface of a substrate through a physical change in which the gas state is changed to a solid state by moving the deposition material to be vaporized to the substrate surface in a gaseous state, It is possible to form various thin films and it is widely used because it can be mass-produced by a relatively simple process.
In such a physical vapor deposition method, an organic material crucible is mainly used as a device for changing a deposition material to a gaseous state. Such an organic material crucible is a mechanism for vaporizing or sublimating a deposition material by filling an evaporation material such as an organic material therein and heating the evaporation material.
For example, when the temperature at which the vaporization or sublimation starts is 300 ° C and A is used as the evaporation material, when the temperature of the organic material crucible reaches 300 ° C, A is ejected through the nozzle in the upper part of the organic material crucible in a vaporized state, The ejected organic material is deposited on the substrate.
However, in the heating process of the organic material crucible, the temperature of the central region inside the organic material crucible is different from that of the edge region due to various causes. The temperature variation depending on the position inside the organic crucible causes a problem of inducing the formation of a nonuniform thin film layer.
That is, as described above, the amount of the organic material vaporized according to the temperature inside the organic material crucible is varied in the organic material crucible. For example, when the temperature of the material A is 300 ° C, a discharge amount of 0.1 g / min is generated And assuming that a spouting rate of 2 g / min is generated when the temperature is 320 ° C. and that the temperature on the left side is maintained at 300 ° C., the temperature at the center is 320 ° C., and the temperature at the right side is maintained at 300 ° C. along the longitudinal direction of the organic material crucible, The thickness of the thin film layer on the substrate becomes thinner from the center to the left and the right side since the amount of ejection from the center to the left and right becomes considerably different.
Therefore, it is necessary to develop a substrate deposition apparatus capable of forming a thin film layer having a uniform thickness on a substrate by removing a temperature deviation according to the position inside the organic material crucible.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a substrate deposition apparatus capable of forming a thin film layer having a uniform thickness on a substrate by eliminating a temperature deviation according to a position inside an organic material crucible.

The
The temperature deviation according to the position inside the
The
The

In general, heat transfer by radiation follows the formula:
Where Q is the heat transfer by radiation, ε is the emissivity, A is the surface area, σ is the Stefan-Boltzmann constant, and T is the temperature.
Here, since the Stefan-Boltzmann constant and temperature are constants, the emissivity or surface area should be appropriately adjusted in order to increase the amount of heat transferred by radiation.

At this time, since the
