Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a synthetic paper having excellent printability and excellent productivity and heat resistance, and more particularly, to a synthetic paper having a multi-layer structure and excellent in productivity and heat resistance.
Synthetic paper is used for various purposes such as business cards, printed materials, labels and tickets, and is often used in everyday life. Biaxially stretched polypropylene films are mainly used as synthetic fibers.
Synthetic paper is thinner and stronger than paper, it is not torn by water and is used for paper replacement.
In order to show the characteristics of paper in synthetic paper, the printability, whiteness, hiding power and texture expressed through microvoid formation should be appropriately controlled. Conventional synthetic papers contain various inorganic substances on the surface of synthetic paper in order to impart printability, and various inorganic substances are added to control texture, whiteness and hiding power.
The conventional synthetic paper as described above contains an inorganic substance on the surface thereof in order to impart printability and the like. That is, a surface layer is formed by using a resin containing an inorganic material. In this case, a die build-up phenomenon in which substances contained in a master batch used when an inorganic material is added is dropped on a die . As a result, there is a problem that continuous production over a certain period of time is difficult, and the productivity of the synthetic paper is deteriorated.
In addition, conventional synthetic papers use inorganic materials to form micro voices for the expression of texture and the like. In this case, delamination problems arise. Conventional synthetic paper has solved the problem of delamination by using a resin having a lower melting point than that of the inner layer in the surface layer, but in this case, there has been a problem that the heat resistance of the synthetic paper produced is significantly lowered.

Also, the
At least one of the
The synthetic paper according to the present invention having the above-described structure may have a total thickness of 10 to 300 탆. Of course, depending on the design of the product, the thickness may deviate from the above range, but it is preferable in terms of productivity, price competitiveness, and physical properties to have a thickness in the above range as a result of repeated experiments. In the synthetic paper according to the present invention, the thickness of the
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to Examples and Test Examples.
Produce
A 5-layer synthetic paper was prepared. The melted resin was co-extruded through a T-die to form a sheet. The formed sheet was cooled, and then the sheet was cooled by 5 times in the machine direction and in the width direction To give a biaxially stretched film-like synthetic paper.

Produce
A conventional three-layer synthetic paper containing no inorganic modifier and no intermediate layer for enhancing heat resistance was prepared without using an organic modifier in the surface layer. The composition of the synthetic paper according to the comparative example is as shown in Table 2 below, and the manufacturing method is the same as that of the above embodiment. The thickness of the center layer and the thickness of the entire film were also made the same as in the above embodiment.
[Table 2] Composition of synthetic paper according to comparative example
Printability evaluation
The compatibility of the synthetic paper produced by the above Examples and Comparative Examples was evaluated. The printability of the synthetic paper can be evaluated by surface tension, and the measurement of the surface tension is performed by the method specified in ASTM D 2578, and the results are shown in Table 3 below.
[Table 3] Surface tension measurement results
In the case of synthetic paper, it is generally evaluated that the surface tension should be 30 dyn / cm or less for printing, and the surface tension should exceed 38 dyn / cm in order to achieve excellent printability. As can be seen from the results of Table 3, the synthetic paper prepared according to the embodiment of the present invention exhibits excellent printability because the surface tension exceeds 40 dyn / cm. It can be seen that the synthetic paper exhibits almost the same value as that of the conventional synthetic paper (comparative example) in which the printing property is given by using an inorganic material on the surface.
Heat resistance evaluation
The heat resistance of the synthetic paper prepared according to the above Examples and Comparative Examples was evaluated. The heat resistance evaluation was made according to the shrinkage test specified in ASTM D 1204. That is, the synthetic paper prepared by the examples and the comparison was put into a chamber maintained at 135 ° C., aged for 5 minutes, and the shrinkage ratio before and after the injection was compared. The results are shown in Table 4 below.
[Table 4] Results of shrinkage measurement
As can be seen from the measurement results in Table 4, the synthetic paper prepared according to the examples of the present invention exhibits less shrinkage than the comparative example. This is because the resin having a high melting temperature introduced into the intermediate layer improves the heat resistance of the synthetic paper by introducing a resin having a high melting temperature into the intermediate layer unlike the conventional synthetic paper according to the comparative example.
