Description
The present invention relates to a power generation system, and more particularly, to a fuel cell hybrid system that generates more electricity by using a fuel cell in combination with an engine.
Generally, a fuel cell is an electrochemical device that converts the chemical energy of hydrogen and oxygen into direct electrical energy. It is a system that continuously produces electricity by supplying hydrogen and oxygen to the anode and cathode.
The general characteristic of these fuel cells is that the fuel is electrochemically reacted to generate heat in the process of generating electricity, so that high efficiency can be achieved by increasing the total efficiency by more than 80%, and the efficiency is higher than conventional thermal power generation. It is possible to save fuel and cogeneration. In addition, NOx and CO 2 emissions are significantly lower than coal-fired power plants, and noise is very low, which is a pollution-free energy technology with almost no pollutant emission factors.
In addition, it is possible to shorten the construction period by modularization, to increase or decrease the capacity of the facility, and to easily select the location. Therefore, it is possible to supply energy economically because it can be installed in an urban area or a building, and it is possible to use various fuels such as natural gas, city gas, methanol, waste gas, And can be applied to pollution-free automobile power supply and the like.
As shown in FIG. 1, the fuel cell includes a
However, the conventional fuel cell has a problem that the efficiency is lowered because it does not properly utilize the exhaust gas discharged from the

The present invention has been proposed to solve the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a fuel cell hybrid system configured to effectively utilize the exhaust gas to produce electricity and discharged.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a negative electrode portion in which oxygen and carbon dioxide react to generate a carbonate ion, and a discharge gas containing electricity and water and carbon dioxide reacts with hydrogen and a carbonate ion supplied from the negative electrode portion. An electric generator comprising an anode part to be generated, a cooling part for cooling the exhaust gas introduced into and in communication with the anode part, an engine part receiving the exhaust gas cooled while passing through the cooling part, and generating power; It provides a fuel cell hybrid system comprising a recirculation unit for supplying carbon dioxide discharged from the engine unit to the cathode portion.

More preferably, the recirculation unit is provided with a control valve to control the amount of carbon dioxide supplied.

According to the fuel cell system according to the present invention has the following effects.
First, there is an advantage that the power generation efficiency can be improved by enabling the engine unit to operate by using the exhaust gas discharged from the anode to enable power or power production.
Second, since the HCCI engine is used in the engine unit, even if a fuel having a low calorific value such as exhaust gas discharged from the anode unit is used, combustion can be performed without additional fuel.
Third, when the concentration of the exhaust gas discharged according to the operating conditions is too thin and the heat generation amount is low, there is an advantage that the engine unit can be operated without additional fuel by supplying oxygen instead of air.

2 is a block diagram of a fuel cell hybrid system according to the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 2, in the present embodiment, a cathode (Cathode) 110 in which oxygen and carbon dioxide react to generate a carbonate ion, and a carbonate supplied from hydrogen and the cathode react to include water and carbon dioxide.
In the
The electricity generating
As described above, the conventional fuel cell hybrid system has a problem in that it does not properly utilize the discharge gas to produce electricity and discharge, in this embodiment, the discharge gas discharged to the
However, the temperature of the exhaust gas discharged from the
In this embodiment, the
The explosive force generated while the exhaust gas supplied to the
In this embodiment, the
In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, the
Exhaust gas and air are supplied to the
In this embodiment, a spiral internal flow path is formed in the mixing
3 is a view showing an embodiment of the mixing unit according to the present invention.
In this embodiment, a static mixer may be used as the
In the case of the static mixer, a flow path is formed to uniformly mix the gas introduced therein without a separate driving unit. Since there is no driving part, noise and vibration are not generated.
4 is a view showing another embodiment of the mixing unit according to the present invention.
In this embodiment, the ejector may be used as the
엔진부(300)로는 HCCI(Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition) 엔진을 사용하는 것이 바람직하다.As the
Diesel engines usually spray liquid fuel at a high pressure of about 20: 1 to induce self-explosion. This is because diesel fuels including diesel fuel can self-detonate at a temperature of 400 to 500 ° C., and if self-explosion occurs, they will explode at the same time, resulting in an increased fuel burning rate and consequently an improved fuel economy.
However, the concentration of the exhaust gas discharged from the
Of course, it is possible to compress the exhaust gas to a high pressure, but in this case, since a separate equipment is used, the configuration is complicated, and further problems may occur that the system efficiency is reduced.
For the reasons stated above, it is possible to use a gasoline engine that ignites an explosive device in a mixture of air and fuel, but when the gasoline engine is used, it is difficult to ignite only with a low amount of hydrogen and carbon monoxide There is a drawback to doing so. This is because the addition of additional fuel means a decrease in efficiency of the entire system.
In this embodiment, the HCCI engine is used as the
When the high temperature exhaust gas discharged from the
In the
Looking at the components of the exhaust gas discharged from the
However, as in the present embodiment, when the exhaust gas is cooled to condense the water vapor contained in the exhaust gas, the water vapor contained in the exhaust gas is removed, so that the ratio of hydrogen and carbon monoxide per unit volume increases, so that it can be easily ignited.
It is also possible to separate and supply oxygen to the
In this way, when oxygen is supplied to the
In addition, by supplying oxygen to the
